I remember my uncle singing a song , roll on the rodney , nelson renown , these four funnel basterds are getting me down ,😅 he joined the royal navey in 1937 and was penioned off in 1959 .
Was still sung in the 1950 but with slightly altered words as well as We Are leaving Carton by the Light of the Moon .
Is that portholes all along the side of the hull ?? My phone screen isn't quite big enough to make it out..
this is Repulse. Renown dident have 4 inch in tribbel turrets
She did initially.... until her major rebuild in the late 30s, when the 4" mounts were replaced with modern 4.5" twins.
