    • @jamesrichardson381
      @jamesrichardson381 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah but just as remarkable was how Galarraga handled the whole thing. I mean this wasn't a Justin Verlander or Greg Maddux getting screwed out of a perfect game. This was a guy who that would who would never come close to having it happen again. It was his career moment by far. I still don't understand why the MLB front office doesn't go back and make it right. It wouldn't feel the same for him but when something is so clearly obvious it should be made right. They do it with other scenarios.

    I was at that Braves game when they called the "infield fly" and it still boggles my mind how that could be called. What sport have I been watching all these years if that's an infield fly. Aren't there multiple names for hit balls like that? Texas Leaguer? I had never seen a ball hit basically to an outfielder considered in field before this game and haven't seen it since. In my honest opinion (and they would never admit it) I think the umps down the lines simply forgot it was a playoff game and thus forgot there were 2 extra umps down the line. They forgot where they were stationed. That is the only explanation I can come up with. It is up there with Galarraga's "imperfect game" as one of the most blatant misses by an umpire ever.
    The Knoblach and Helton plays are insane. What was the ump at first doing there? Every time theres a ground out to first we see the ump on or close to the line so things like that specifically don't happen. Was that Joyce again? It sort of looked like him and how he called outs.

    • @PapeySapote
      @PapeySapote 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      41Brother yea they play each other like four to six games a year. I feel the same way. I don’t hate the Mets. It’s dumb for me to hate that team. If they’re in World Series, as long as it’s not against the yanks, I’ll root for them.

    • @41Brother2
      @41Brother2 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PapeySapote Majkk Right? I have no hate or ill will towards the Mets. I just don't see how any cross-town teams can really be rivals if they barely play each other. Not just Yanks-Mets but same goes for White Sox & Cubs, Dodgers and Angels. 2 teams in the same city that barely play the other? That's no rivalry. As a Yankees fan I'd be more concerned with the Red Sox or the Rays, even the Astros. Teams that are in the same league and/or division. Not a NL team that unless they meet in the WS we'll only play em what a grand total of 4 games? Big friggin deal.
      Jets-Giants share a stadium and only play each other once every 4 years.
      I don't care for basketball so idk about Knicks-Nets.
      The only true rivalry in NY sports in my book are the Rangers-Islanders-Devils. All 3 are in the same division and are direct compeition and rivals with each other.

    I love how Marc gets salty at the Yankees because they’re good and he doesn’t have anything to talk about the Mets
    He might be a closet Yankees fan

    That walk off with the Pirates and Braves was crazier then you think. It was like the 17th inning, and a pitcher was batting. What a horrible way to end that marathon of a game.
