Beautiful land around the house. Mature garden, tall cypress and olive trees on terraces that would have been a tremendous amount of work. The stonework is gorgeous. Very private looking.

This property is still on the market because it was over priced a year ago.
this is possible, although to our knowledge it has been on sale for about 6 months.
the voice over the music is fine. the presenter has an english accent thats calming and just enough to be informative.
Also like the house a lot.... it needs tlc, and maybe a refresh, but the location looks great. Maybe its a touch small. but worth a look for sure.

ahahah...yes the cameramen couldn't resist. Oil can be done directly by the owner or by teams working for you.

I do find it a bit off putting when you show these magnificent traditional properties, then end by telling us to have the details that make them unique removed and "updated" by your construction company. Perhaps a few sentences letting us know you offer these services if we desire them would suffice.
It is disheartening for those of us who seek out exactly this sort of timelessly traditional property when it seems the goal of this channel is to "modernise" everything.
We propose only minor updates if required. Probably in this house the kitchen on the ground floor and the three rooms on the first floor would have been more comfortable for today's use. Otherwise the house is perfect as it is.
Nice property, but the price seems too high for such a tiny house that needs a kitchen remodel and new bathrooms.
Interestingly, I found the house to be perfectly liveable just the way it is, I absolutely adore the traditional look of the place.
Unfortunately, the prices for a detached house with a pool in this area are these. Also you can always bargain a little on the price. Negotiating a discount of 50,000 can be a good investment.

Given that the Italian population is falling faster than any other country in the EU with a replacement rate of 0.7 added to that 200k Italians emigrate every year, more and more of these properties will be available every month. The asking price is way out of kilter with the market. Given that €1 homes are now appearing in suburbs of Rome, Maenza for example, the market price of this house will be much lower than half the asking price. It’s on the market over one year like every other house in the area and taxes have to be paid by the owners for unoccupied homes. How long can they stand to pay this tax for which they get no benefit. Most likely they have no children to pass it on to, so they will end up chasing the bottom of the market. This house in its current state of repair €70k required there and 1.25acres needing constant maintenance and upkeep €20k p.a. Makes it difficult to value but I would say it’s worth approximately €125k
You've GOT to get a new camera person. The one you have now insisted on keeping you front and center instead of showing the property, even when you talk about something and point in that direction, he/she keeps the camera on you. It would be fabulous if he/she kept the view on the property and its features and just hear your explanations in the background. After all, we are not buying you but the property itself, but if we cannot see it well, then it could be all lost.
I agree, the camera work is frustrating! It would be nice to see more details, and the interiors of all the annexes.

Houses in the countryside in Cortona are generally built this way.
This property would have shown so much better without the realtor showing it, to me he is offputting. His voice-over would have been good enough.
