@@danielanthonyestrada128 that's comparing apples to pears. Salaries are also much lower in Italy. E.g. a surgeon in Italy earns about 12000 Euros on average per month ie 140k per year. This means a medical specialist would not be able to buy this house as a summer house but perhaps would be able to buy it as a house to retire in.
Thanks Nick. Loved this one. So many spaces and that tower at the end could be amazing. I'm embarrassed by my guess this week at 875k. I was off by a million. :).
Very nice property, if a bit pricier than I was expecting. I was thinking 1.5 million or a little less. If that tower was renovated too, like the rest of the property, that 1.8 million would be a steal!
Oh my goodness! There is nothing I even remotely dislike. I love it all! Maybe my favorite property you’ve shown. Yep, it is. If I had the money I’d be typing this from the plane on my way over the Atlantic!
This is way overpriced and needs much gardening up keep..,way to much vine, looks like someone from another country redid the upgrades, this is not like a Tuscan style….only the outside looks like Italy except for the overgrown vines.., I love your videos but the price is Insane,,,,
Really beautiful with a lot of potential. If you did not have a big family, the way the property is laid out you could even turn it Bed and Breakfast if you have the other needed skills to run one.
Got to be pretty tall to see your face in the mirror. You know Nick. I hate the kitchen.!! This place for rustic. Is so over priced. I know you say you like it. And those handles are so over rated. And cheap. Someone will love this place im sure. To your viewers. Just my personal view.
Wow where are those people pulling their prices from??? 1.8 mil for a place that lacks any sort of practicality. A bunch of basic small bedrooms with no closets, a kitchen with no storage where they used basic recycled materials and cheap hardware, tons of maintenance outside where everything is overgrown and no maintenance building, a tower that we didn’t see, and yes some nice finishes and touches but a countryside look at a designer price. The one with the big reception building from 3 weeks or so back was much nicer for a price with a built-in ROI. This is a money pit.
For the size of the property overall the kitchen is rather small, I could not imagine having to walk outside to go to a bedroom, especially if you needed to go to the toilet, as some do not even have a toilet installed. They have let everything to over grow, also no mention of anything about heating/cooling etc. Also why did you not go into the first shower/toilet room? I have seen better properties for the same money.
great opening shot nick! you look right at home! italy is just so beautiful when wet too! what a wonderful ambience here! love it! the "rougher" textures against the smoother features are so gorgeous. the bedrooms upstairs are lovely - imagining waking up to that view and the second bedroom's lighting and creamy look feel like dreamland ;) then you stepped out into eden!!! what a beautiful feeling entering those spaces! this tour made me feel detached from the rest of the world lol like i entered a storybook :) ... i can see that price because i can see how keeping it's design simple and rustic in all the right places, accented absolutely every plus this place has to offer! so well done it blew me away!!! you've gone and done it again! italy pulls on my heartstrings!
Cool spot. If the EU wasn't so much economic trouble, I would love to move to Italy, my favorite country, but probably live in the Mediterranean, I love the sea.
I have a services question… how easy or difficult is it to get gardeners, cleaners, handymen; perhaps housekeepers and such for a property like this? I’m of an age that assistance in those areas would be a must. I have a large family who would enjoy spending time here while in the quiet times I would happily do my own thing.
It is meant for a rustric retreat to my thinking. The kitchen is small in scale and not a gathering place. It seems the design is more like a series of hotel rooms, no real closets. Yet it could be made into an extended family home easily. Personal art on the walls. I’m not sure about the glass wall into the bedrock. A bit eccentric and maybe feel like a burial chamber. Again, I love the diversity your channel provides. If only for design elements it is wonderful to see what others have imagined and brought into reality. I would think a man designed this one. No bidets, and above all no bathtubs?
Hi, great place. Are there inspections/reports for insulation and 'energy' efficiency in Italian properties which are similar to properties in France when selling or buying?
Ooh, nice place. Bedroom 2 is my fave, I love the painted beams, the bedhead, the hanging lights, and the peep hole window. The view from the first building over to the second building is divine, loving all the vine/ivy coverage. So, what exactly are we looking at through the glass of the last bedroom/apartment? Where does the ladder go? Is it a well? What a gorgeous property!
Hi Nick. Thank you for all your videos. My husband & I eagerly anticipate & watch each one. I have a question I hope you can answer. I frequently see a design feature in older Italian farmhouses where there is a flight of steps leading up to a covered front door on the first story (not the ground floor where stables used to be). Is there an architectural term or even an Italian term for that unique feature? Thank you🙏🏻
The separate little house is covered in what I’m sure they’d say vines...in America I would probably call it kudzu! LOL...even though it’s a different plan species. But doesn’t all that greenery growing all over the house promote bugs, mold, water damage and rot? But that little studio is very very cool !
Wow Nick❤ truly heaven on Earth some very unique features here that Rock Room you could maybe make that into a sauna and I think I saw a little corner spot outside where you could install a hot tub Maybe I could live blissfully happy there for the rest of my life thanks for sharing Nick love your videos until next time ciao❤
❤ Your broadcast! Absolutely fantastic and I have a large following because of posting your 1 Take Cinema moments. Bravo 👏👌 you have done it again! 🎉 I adore your family houses you have shared with the world all the over here in Hollywood, Southern California near the Pacific North PCH#1🎉🎉
Jolly good fun picking your way in the bedrooms among the lovely and artfully arranged clothing all strewn on the floor, since there doesn’t seem to have anything to hang them on!
The last bedroom , with the bedrock, would be great converted …a sauna, a steam room and relaxation / dressing room, pool outside , just up the stairs . Perfect.
Uh-Uh, that one immediately touched my heart deeply - the lush green nature around, the wines at the facades and walls (need some pruning btw) and very well-done renovation. And that al-fresco dining area - what a whopper! I assumed with 2M a bit more ... Thanks again for that nice rummage, Nick Regards from DE Joachim
WOW!!! Idyllic! Love the sympathetic restoration. Art studio - tick! Kitchen needs an island for more work surface. Property needs a gardener to tame some of the vines. Prefer shower curtains - more privacy and no water spotted glass. ;-) Best property in a while. Thanks for sharing Nick. Wish I could buy it. Someone is going to have a lovely property.
Love it, love it, love it. Very unpretentious refurbishment. I do question having wine bottles next to an enormous fireplace, but I assume these aren't precious vintages. I think the winner for me was that bathroom with the viewing portal to the foundation bedrock. You have your own museum quality excavation exhibit while you're on the loo! I was a sucker from the start, though with that antique fireplace mantle. I could really see living there.
@susanrim999 spiders eat bugs, so as long as they are not highly poisonous like black widows and brown recluse, I'm OK with them and usually leave them alone.
Truly perfect! The attention to detail and decorator sheik style was very much on point. The glass encased natural rock feature is a stroke of brilliance and adds a lot to an otherwise unremarkable space. It truly made the 3 mile walk with our wirehaired Vizslas Angus Portree and Flora MacDonald (and the chocolate croissant that accompanied my coffee afterwards) totally worth it! Keep up the great work and being a highlight on Saturday mornings! 🥂
Ciao Nick, I love this property, so when all my sisters come to visit, they will have sleeping quarters away from me. I love how they renovated it; the style is perfect for its surroundings. I think the price is spot on, I can't believe hoe cheap the property taxes are. I really loved this one. Amore da N.Y.
I love love love all the greens and trees . The house is amazing and decoration +×+ It's way to big for us anyway . Nick , and all followers , hope you have a nice weekend where ever you are !
Nick, I look at many realestate VLOGs and you are just the best. In your own words which make me grinn all the time:“stunning“. All the best. I love Italy except for their income tax eg pension tax system; a big reason to go to south of France in 2 years. Warm regards from Munich.
Hi Nick 👋 a very peaceful lovely outside areas and very nice inside as well .. but not a home .. that tower tho would be amazing 🥰 I guess I'm a little shocked at the price seems quite high Thank you Nicholas, wonderful video!👍👌😁
GM, GA, GE, Nick! Place is spectacular in its simplicity. Love the way it’s presented and I agree with one of the other comments. The “viewing area” for the foundational bedrock is really cool and well thought out. Was nice to get some “Tuscan countryside” with our Sat morning coffee. Thank you as always Nick for bringing these properties to life for us.
I really like this one. A few questions. 1- Did I see a wall air-conditioner or dehumidifier? 2- Does the fireplace work. 3- any work that needs to be fixed? If so what ? And cost? 4- the road to the house in the winter? 5- nearstest town? 6- furniture? 7- gas or oil heat? 8- cost Thx
A hidden emerald green gem! Love the simplicity of the bedrooms. Room for art is beautiful. Need to utilize the height of that room. Nick you do find beautiful gems! Thank you.
The way you said 1.8 million like that's cheap just made me burst into laughter. Still, great property and love your videos.
Glad you enjoyed it. 🤗
Lol i live in silicon valley and that is cheap compared to here!!!!!!😅

Wait a year or two ...price will fall 600.000 Euro...Seen it on different other objects....
Much too expensive for the location, and so disjointed, rooms spread all over the place.
I'm sure some would disagree, but all those vines (on the house, not the outdoor eating area) need a major cut back! I do love the house otherwise.
Crazily overpriced!
I guessed $1.5 M. Lovely rambling estate, Nick! I think it needs a gardener who hates Ivy!
It's 1.8 million euro...ship shape jolly soon ....lol
Thanks Nick. Loved this one. So many spaces and that tower at the end could be amazing. I'm embarrassed by my guess this week at 875k. I was off by a million. :).
Your price was right.
This is a clear case of speculator investment. Minimum investment for maximum profit.
Welcome to the new Tuscany.

So overpriced and so overgrown, beautiful. Nick, your video is something we look forward to every Sunday ❤
Thank you. ❤️❤️❤️🤗🙏
Couldnt you have gotten something similar closer to home in the UK?
That studio is never 600m2 big....
Hi, great place. Are there inspections/reports for insulation and 'energy' efficiency in Italian properties which are similar to properties in France when selling or buying?
I believe there is. You could also get all the information from the architect as their office is in the valley below! Thanks for watching
A great example of nature taking over civilization. Stunning to see, but yikes… Thanks for sharing Nick.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching

Not that I know of. It’s because these buildings were designed as farmhouses. I hope this helps and apologies for my delay. ❤️🙏🤗
Do you know, that you have the best job in the world!😊

It is sheikh but there is nothing shabby about it.
I hope all that ivey is not full of spiders or at least that they stay hidden.
ivy or not living in the country there are always spiders.I vacuum mine very often. i live in Umbria,no vines, many spiders
