@@Atlas_M i used it, and by far the sm 91 is way easier to use. the 20 mm in the back makes it better, and the fact that the 91 has all guns in the middle makes it easier to aim. btw im a controller player, maybe those few seconds of turn actually help in weird situation, but overall the sm92 is not a cool plane to spade

@@Atlas_M as someone who knows how to use a turret in a dogfight the SM.91 is immediately better, it has a .3 lower BR twice the fire power (yes 3 MG151 is more than plenty but more is better), when spading the 92 i thought it would get much better but the slight flight performance increase is not worth losing the turret and .3 higher BR.

@@rainsilent I put a lot of time into flying the SM-91 for about a year after it came out and i got really good to it and used to how it flies, i can guarantee you that it used to be able to turn fight very very well for a heavy fighter, about on par with the p38s if not better depending on the circumstance. Since my first comment i tried flying it in a test drive and the maneuverability has been pretty greatly decreased along with the nose authority like defyn pointed out. And I can confidently say that it definitely used to be a monster, i was regularly going 15/20-0 in a heavy fighter.

It's just the twitch movements the plane struggles in, but it's just the nature of twin engined fighters, that's why they have a lot of guns so that you just need one line up to wipe the enemy infront of you.

The sm.91 also has an airbrake, found this out in test flight before i even got the plane. i didn't check for an airbrake on the me410 though, and only realised the me410 had a airbrake until i leant on my keyboard.

that 20mm used to be better interms of velocity, but since they recently nerfed almost all guns velocities it's nearly impossible to get hits with rear gunners.
Defyn I have a small question about the air brake of props if they do work or make little affect when I decided to full send to a plane has more roll rate or turn rate when I am on his six, I saw you never use air brake while flying firecrest and sm 91 is that just for energy recovery so that the enemy can not kill u in vertical easy or other reason? Love this thing, but I really prefer the SM.92. Better performance overall, still amazing firepower and lots of ammunition, you just lose the cannon turret in the rear. That rear MG is useless on the 92, unfortunately. Also, really wish you could lighten her up with less fuel, but alas...

Heavy fighters get slept on way too much. Yeah you aren’t as fast or agile as single-engined fighters, but your superior firepower, durability, and sortie length make you more than capable if played right.

I'd also recommend the SM.92. Guns aren't as good, but it flies like a Yak-3 despite being a twin-engine.
The thing about aiming gunners is you don't aim where they are, you aim where they're gonna dodge to when you reveal your gunner

I had some bad luck in this thing where I kept getting pilot sniped by .50 cals in the head-on. Is the Sm-92 a good plane?
It definitely is, would be better if Gaijoob modelled the armor.
Be sure to level your pilot up if you haven't already, makes a huge difference.
