Great vlog however just one note I would’ve suggested you added, the Trek Rail has a flip chip (low and high setting) which allows you to put a 27.5 rear wheel in the high setting without sacrificing the geometry.
Great video btw but you forgot the mention that it is possible to mullet a Trek Rail. I know several people who have done exactly that, totally transforming the back end of the bike, making it more playful especially in sharp turns.
I commented before. So i got Gen 4 Rail 9.8 gx axs on sale for 6800 dollar. Tbh words cant explain how incredible this bike is. I have ridden several other ebikes specialized, decoy etc. Went to shop, picked the rail and in ten minutes i was amazed what this bike. The motor is a powerhouse, the build the looks. Most impressive was the balance of this bike. I also have gen 5 Slash 9.8 and the balance cant even be compared. Also my slash is 170 mm front and 160 mm rear and there is nothing that my slash can do that rail cant. All in for all this bike is just mindblowing experience. I even took it to bmx parks etx. The bike rides like a trail glider.
Rail cxr is just an animal. Sadly is just expensive. Ill just wait and catch it on sale or something like black friday. My issue with canyon is that their bikes have terrible coloring, literally no options. Their torque on is very interesting, but sadly comes with ep8 and that frame integrated bottle is just dogshite design. Expensive or not imo trek is the top dog in the market. Not only do they make impressive quality, they also seem to always nail the looks of the bikes. If you buy 10k bike you also want it to look special with slick and eyecatchy coloring. Their deep smoke and lava red colors is just sick
This is the type of video we need when deciding which bike to purchase. Thanks. How would you compare the new Orbea Wild against the Canyon Strive on ???
@@ebikes_org I guess (?) you could mullet the Rail for a little more Strive:on-ish handling if you'd want... I'm considering these two bikes, and my point might be what pushes me to the Trek.
@@superseinar1787 The thing is that both are high end bikes. But Trek has obviously the brand name. Its like Lamborghini of bikes. It also has some of the most incredible looking bikes. They have some kind of local retailer support, which means you can get your bike issues solved meanwhile canyon is only online. Its not a huge deal to fix a bike, but still better to have a support. But the downsite is that Trek costs more generally. I think best option is to wait when trek bike you want is on sale and get one. I want rail 9.9, but they are pretty expensive. So i will wait to black friday. They do like 20 percent cuts on that time on rails. Perfect timing to get one and not overpay.

Right on @stockfish1511! That's amazing to hear. So glad you like the Rail so much!
@@ebikes_org yeah i knew it was going to be good because the price. But it went past my expectations. Also the bosch motor is just candy
Where did you get your 9.8 gen 4 for $6800?
@@toehead25 local Trek retailer in sweden. On sale
Glad you see my reviews match your experience! ;-)

I would say (alex) that the Canyon is marginally more aggressive.
Also interested in an in depth comparison between these two. The Orbea and Canyon are currently on my shopping list.
just wanting to know what size that canyon is thanks

Trek has a lifetime warranty
Well enduro ebike?
Which is your favorite ebike?
I like both, but push push then I have to take the Canyon for Enduro, the Trek for park.

Trek is not a four bar, it's a linkage driven single pivot.
