- China has built what some are calling the world's most beautiful athletes' village as part of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou. The village is one of the sub-villages, or satellite villages being used alongside the main Asian Games village in the centre of Hangzhou, and it is located next to the waters of Qiandaohu, or the Thousand Island Lake.
So, I went there to see if it was true; is this the most beautiful athletes’ village ever built?

The village could easily be my dream place to live 😊. And the food they serve there is just incredible. Dongpo braised pork is one Hangzhou delicacy that I had the opportunity to try and I loved it so much. The athletes are spoilt 😊. Another marvelous video, Stu 👍

I'd assume after the Games are over, these beautiful houses will be up for sale to the public. I think it gonna be expensive in such a choice location, overlooking the Qiandao Lake.
Some of them have already been sold I believe.

Yes, certainly most beautiful.
Have seen countless vids of China scenery, didn't know such a beautiful environnent as the Qingdouhu exists! Hope some TH-camrs will do a detailed tour of the whole place
The lake’s name is: Qiandaohu
Qian Dao Hu 千岛湖 literally means Thousand Island Lake.

I hope they turn this into a resort after the games. I would hate it if they left it vacant and unused.
There's actually a Club Med resort in the village, and that's where members of the media will be staying. Pretty great for them! Couldn't believe it when I found out.

I'm sure that with all of the greenery there, that walking or biking around is a joy for all visitors/residents. The stadium that is meant to resemble a pearl has such cool infrastructure inside~
Magnificent facilities. I think these housing will be used for vacation rentals after the game.

China just seems like Heaven,,Shangrala at least....all the world leaders are treated so well as are the athletes...Assad of Syria one of the poorest countries thanks to America really appreciates China for free transport of its Athletes to China🖐

I can't believe that the Athletes are so spoilt by living in that paradise village. I hope they remember that experience because it is downhill all the way after that.

Athletes housed in these Chun'an apartments are the luckiest with uber exquisite surroundings.
