@@warrencramer4516 thanks Warren. Yeah we have experienced this ourselves, you go out with a grand plan in mind and the weather gives you something different, no reason to get upset about your plans changing
Quit apologising guys! It was hilarious to watch 😂 and you did make amazing lemonade out of the situation 👍 so glad you got the pies👏 . That wild weekend I was camped at a recreation park, and moved the van to the shelter of a large building. Felt sorry for the poor chap in a pop up caravan that flapped all night. Can’t ever win against weather, just ride with whatever comes, she’s the boss!
@@allegrosotto2126 😂😂 we’ll be able to open up a lemonade shop by the end of the year with all this practice hahah. Pies were ace 🙌 oh man I can imagine. those pop up caravans get battered in these big storms!! So damn true weather is boss 🤣 she’s let us know that for sure on our current trip.
I absolutely enjoyed this series guys! I’ll def be visiting Marysville….especially for the pies haha. The screaming turkey had me 💀 😂 you guys crack me up

Love banana lollies! Sorry Jamie! What a trip down lolly memory lane. Marysville looks like a cute place, I'd visit for sure, and get a pie! I know this series was hard, but you did great! And with the heat in the NT, it is so nice to watch a cooler climate vid! ❤ Hope your Dad is on the mend and you had a great trip home, Jamie x

These days she is shut the F@#k up !! in the morning when she hears them lol .
@arfyseal hahaha your comment has us dying of laughter 😂 we will have a watch of this video 😂 thanks for sending it through!! We saw so many awesome spots on that trip but the roads were truly wrecked!! but we try not to put too much pressure with that kind of stuff at the end of the day we just want somewhere safe and if we get recommendations after it always gives us a reason to go back 🤪 as for the cockatoos!! That Murray river video was taken a couple years ago now (I have been in Aus for 12 years now!) I have yet to get sick of them 🤣🤣 we don’t have them waking us up though. that might change things!!
I very sorry to hear your Dad is sick Jamie. I pray he is recovering. You guys are so keen, that couple of days were horrible. Even if the weather is horrible, camping is fun ( unless stuck in a tent). My son and I were in Mt Franklin during winter and it got to minus 1, we were off grid so no heater but our blankets are thick. Have you ever been to Tasmania? Im think of going car camping, taking the caravan on the boat is just a ridiculous price. Doug are you serious that that lolly makes you fart? Yes I did the same as you with the huge jaw breaker but unlike you Doug I wasn't a kid, I was like 16. Bananas ain't bad, I do prefer wine gums or Gummi bears.
Thank you for the well wishes Michelle!! ❤️❤️ dad is doing much better! And you’re so right. Thick blankets are a MUST for cold weather camping. We def feel you on the no heater. We haven’t been to tassie yet but we want to. We’ve thought of taking the van over on the boat. But like you said the $$ really is a put off. Might be cheaper to just rent a camper once we get there. HAHHAHA Doug loves that he’s not alone with the jaw breaker story HAHHAHA and the bananas
Also you know those banana sweets Doug - apparently they taste like what bananas USED to taste like when they originally made that flavouring - but because we now globally use cavendish bananas, those lollies taste like "fake" banana when it's actually a legit flavour that used to exist (and maybe still does? I don't know what type of banana it was though)
