I have to say watching you guys sit in the van does make me second guess my build choice. Though I don’t have to make my bed being able to sit up and use the space in a different way either to work eat chill or change is something I think I may regret.

The city can be very hot and miss for evening take away food, a lot of places, including coffee places are closed after 3pm in the main office parts of melb. I work near Southern Cross station 24/7 shift work and it can suck to get a coffee that isn't from 7/11 in the evening.

The Udon place got my 👍 I watch lots of Japanese campers and am inspired by what they produce in a tiny space! This week in Maldon at the Gold Exchange café, I got an organic beef burger and amazing chips with a mug of coffee for $21, great vibe and fantastic service, if you’re ever out that way. The reason the pizza tasted that way was all the not-food ingredients- Australia still has more real ingredients than American- sorry mate🤣😂

Great episode guys, and I thought you be just going to Crossways vegan restaurant. Are egg rolls the same as our spring rolls? I want to try General TSO chicken it looks delicious. You make me laugh with testicles. I would try tentacles not testicle 😂😂 but if its super salty thats a no. The dish I liked the most in this episode are the Dumplings, checking out their menu. Looks like I need to head into the city, their Nasi Goreng looks delicious

Doug and Jamie you asked for road trip misadventure stories 😂I have one. It was the early 80s, my family would spend summer in Lakes Entrance. My Dad said we're going on a Sunday drive through the snowy Mountains, 2 hours he said. 4 kids in a old Holden Kingswood station wagon, the aircon was the windows. Time before GPS, mobile phones. We were told when get a certain point on top of the mountain, stop and look down the mountain if you see a car wait for it to get up before driving down the mountain. The road was very tight, potholes, mostly dirt, no room for u-turn. We are nervous, and half way down. A local came flying up the mountain, my father moved over as much as he could. All we could see was the edge into the abyss. The other driver hit part of the cliff. Not too serious but she damaged her car. So after that we are all saying we want to go back, no toilets, no bushes to use nothing so we had to hold on. We get to a rickety old bridge high up going over the snowy River. There's a sign mentioning how many times this old broken down bridge had been washed out. My father the adventurer as he is deciding great idea to drive over it slowly. He said drive slowly to be safe, i have my doubts maybe prolonging the terrorizing of us all. With each plank of wood lifting up as we rolled over. Seeing the white foam of the rushing River below us. My Mum screams for my Dad to stop and reverse the car back to where we came from. A quite Sunday 2 hour drive that turned into a 5 hour trauma causing ideal. To this day thinking about it makes me laugh😂😂😂. I will never forget it.

Great video, my son and I caught the train (Caltrain) from San Francisco to San Jose. The layout of the train was very different to Australian trains. Amtrak seems to be a good service if its running on time. I wish Australian trains had an observation carriage. I really don't like the XPT Melbourne to Sydney.
