Micah you’re truly a basketball revolutionary, which I know is ironic since your point in this video isn’t that you’re reinventing basketball. You’re revolutionising basketball training.
Yours is one of the few channels I actually recommend to people and subscribe to. Keep up the great work, just give me all the tips so I’m better that my pops 😂

Nice job! Development of terminology is important for teaching. I have benefited immensely from the original proshot videos for using video analysis and terminology to counter 1950s shooting instructions (square up!). Your videos add to this conversation with continuing to clarify on the two key paths (lift and release) and how one needs to be flexible in the lift path depending upon the situation, but more consistent in the release path. I think the next stage in my mind is the coordination between the release path as coordinated with the body's alignment to the basket (e.g., the turn of the hip to varying degrees). Really liked your previous video on using the whole hand to bust the false dichotomy of using fingertips vs. palm - use the whole thing! Keep it up!

Hey coach, my shooting form is good but there is just one problem. Sometimes instead of the basketball coming off my index and middle finger, it often comes out of my ring finger n pinky. Any tips?

Bro if you are a index & middle finger shooter than make your sure when your holding the pall that your index & middle finger are in the center of the ball
