Love your videos it inspired me to keep praising to be a basketball 🏀 trainer and hooper. My question is that Is it okay to have thumb flick ?
Love being able to help you guys! Keep working 💯
Thanks ryan your really helping me become a good player💪💪💪💪
Coach Ryan is it bad that my release point is way higher on my midrange than in 3pt because I’m practicing rising the release point on midrange for not getting blocked is this bad ?
Coach, My game has increased watching your videos. I have been watching those old videos on your channel. Recently you uploaded how to become a highschool Allstar like mikey and that helped my game. Thanks coach!

I'm 27. Thanks to this guy's videos, I've recently noticed that I've been 15 years shooting the basketball with a thumb flick and placing the ball above the middle of my eyes.
Thanks to this, I've been two days practicing avoiding the thumb flick and placing the ball above my right eye which helps getting the elbow and hand below the ball, and the difference is huge. I've always been a very poor shooter, but a very good floater shooter because with floaters, my body instinctively does it right (just the no need of off-hand is a huge difference).
I've literally made 5 threes in a row for the first time in my life, after 15 years. And I can consistently get 3-4 streaks. It might sound silly, and I don't compete anymore, but I was crazy excited in the moment I figured this out.
It's crazy how none of my coaches have ever told me simple stuff like this. Thank you very much dude :)
Same with me! Im more accurate than ever before. I started watching very closely how steph curry shoots, & got the message, they other point was the finish was explained to me was up & finish with you hand in the basket as a follow through, its amazing! I had 3 older brothers my job was to hound the ball & watch for the cherry pickers breaking after they got the rebound so my defense is solid...steals & side blocks..using my speed & foot work...& focused on the balls position.
Thanks for the advice about the off-hand. I was struggling with that lately and my shot had regressed over the past few months. Appreciate it
No bs. No silly jokes. Pure serious content. Love this guy
Who else looking outside and ready to hoop after watching this?? I’m gonna try that off hand 3 finger placement trick now, that ones new to me 👍
When I clicked on the vid I was a shooter but after watching the vid I'ma shooter shooter
Shooter’s Shoot!
🤣
Nice one
Before this video I was a shooter after this video I was a school shooter, big upgrade bruh I gotta thank ILoveBasketball they helped me so much
Dripward bruh
This is really going to help me a lot. I am relatively a good shooter already, but I recorded myself shooting and noticed that my body slightly goes down as I bring the ball up to my set point. That's why I struggled with consistency in the fluidity of my shot. I am going to practice starting low and bringing the ball up first before my hips.
Bring them up at the same time to have a one motion shot, 2 motion shots are usually worst
Thank you so much! I've been trying to find a guide to get better range, and finally found this. It helps with consistency and with farther range!
Best shooting video I've ever seen, it's to the point, well said and backed up by your shot as well. Keep up the grind
Thanks Coach, this video has been very helpful and well detailed💯👍🏾

Hand placement seems really important, I never realized that. Thanks for sharing. Be blessed.
Love the easy to understand breakdowns. Stuff the brain knows but needs a key to unlock. Thanks for the keys Ryan.
I've been working on moving my off hand up on the ball some like this. it's not automatic yet, and I for sure need to do more reps with it, but it really works. when it comes off my hand right, i know it's going in the second it leaves my hand.
I get better every time I watch your videos !
THANK-YOU VERY MUCH COACH RYAN !!!!!!! 💐💐💐💐💐💐
Always the best from coach Ryan.
Thank you bro. This video helps me a lot for my shooting form😀

I used my offhand so much that not using it is literally a pain lmao
haha Forreal?
@@ILB my thumb just wants to move 🤣
I know a ton of great shooters who use a thumb flick. Mainly for long range shots though
Mine just comes naturally
i stumbled across this at 11:39pm PST............Thank you is all I wanna say!!!!!!!🙌🙌
This video is very satisfying 😍
Thank you, using your tips helped me a lot I am a nba player now
-Ben simmons
This video actually helped a lot more than I thought I learned the thing ruining my shot was my off hand
Literally to the 1% who's reading this, God bless you, stay safe and have a wonderful day.
This is a perfect video I'm gonna go shot some hoops now
Thanks so much Thomas!
This helped me out so much
Jumpshot got 10x better🙌🏾
Even tho ryan shows how you should not shoot with a bad form i can still hear that swish sound. What a legend
Thank you very much and good luck
Thank you and you as well!
Great stuff!
Ryan: Now this push is not how you wanna shoot the basketball
Also Ryan: Swishes it 👀
Let’s go, thanks for this
You got it Cole!
Thanks Coach!!!!
Very good work..it works!!
Best shooting tips!
great vid mate !!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for real the body movement will really improve my range
awesome Nizar
Thank you
love this tutorial
Its very interesting because with Steph sometimes he short arms it but there is barely a difference in consistency. I noticed the same thing with myself. My arm being straight or not hasn’t had a difference with my shot. Will try more straight arm shots to see
It’s that time of the week💯💯
It is! Thanks Christian!
BEST SHOOTING VIDEO OUT🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽👆🏽
This video shows exactly y u have 2million subscribers keep up the good work👍👍👍
Great video- thanks
Big big help! 🔥
goblin king awesome!
Thank you so much
Best thing I did to make me more consistent was load my hips up with my shot for more power and flicking my wrist. Still having trouble with rolling on the right finger tips sometimes
Me ajudou muito bruh😁. Thank you 🤝
Thanks coach
Thank you so muchhhhh
Great sharing
Good stuff, I shoot the ball by dropping the body and raising the ball, think that is why I have difficulty shooting long distance.
thanks coach............................
This video is epic. I’m new to social basketball, just shot 7/10 from the free throw line. Would usually hit 2. 🎉
Thanks a lot g
I made the team because ur videos! Thanks so much💙
Yo congrats bro! What’s your position?
Danny a starting point guard
@BLXNK FN Nice, good luck
I personally like my hand on the side of the ball and I'm a good shooter. Good vid btw.
me too, my grip is weak so i need that extra gripping power.
@@Leon-xp2zb Same here I cannot palm the ball well, so having my hand on the side helps that a lot.
I barely got into high school I need this
