Great review. Finally a quality car reviewer where he drives snd reviews the car for what it’s intended. So sick of the car advice and co clowns who only review the car like it’s meant for a race track. Hmm no your average family don’t drive like every start is a drag race and carving out a fast lap through the mountains
Once all the wank factor is taken out with the Euros that are mostly not even made there anymore, subjectively this is the best SUV under $100K that money can buy. Reliable, unique, great customer service and class leading resale values. You can't go wrong.
I’m amazed how the interior changes from black to white at the touch of the button! I prefer the lighter interior myself. The Long wheelbase seems to be a ripper!
@@EastWood2004 What u mean no brainer? Do u call Audi an VW as they own Audi? Or share platform??? Lexus is far better reliability than German laxuruy vehicles. Do u home work mate. U go for kluger grande who cares?
Great review. I think that in the states they offer an F sport version that is just for looks and no material changes to anything else, and then they offer a different F sport version with the changes made to suspension and steering etc.
Love that they switched to a tablet style infotainment design. Hopefully haters of that design realize the advantage how much physical bulk is removed from the dash giving more visibility forward
I wonder why these car reviewing guys are always 6 foot tall, which I am, too, by the way. It's an interesting phenomenon. Maybe because they fit best a midsize SUV?
The F-Sport has a more futuristic looking guage cluster. It has a digital speedometer and tach changes colours depend on drive settings. A digital instrument looks cool but long term reliability would be a concern. The V6 could use more torque but the engine is super reliable because it’s not overstressed and more than adequate. We don’t need that much speed on urban roads. The Hybrid does have better passing power on highways.

Hi Tom, this Looks great with the updated touch screen and Apple CarPlay. Sales will strengthen.

Plenty of likeable Lexus virtues.
X5 and GLE are def better. RWD platform, more powerful turbo engines, better infoatinment screen, nicer interiors, more space etc.
Great car, Lexus are getting even better, the blue colour is amazing at the end. Love Lexus
I’m also a fan of the bright blue... but I’m a green car guy!
@@chasingcars RX350 or prado kakadu which do you recom?
RX 350 may not be the quickest but it is one of the most luxurious with ample power in the segment Nice video review
I tend to agree.
12:03 - Front door is misaligned to the rear door!
Reviews are great. Would appreciate some clarity on boot space in litres or some quantifiable metric other size is subjective
Is that the Nori green pearl exterior color?
Thanks. In terms of drive, How much better do you think this is compared to the one it replaces.
20-30% better. Body control is improved notably.

Hey, what happened to your hand? Looks 20 years older in the interior shots
Thanks for the video 👍
Nice video mate...long waited for your RX350 review. Need your opinion on RX 350 vs X5 40i...
Tks
If you can afford to splash out, the X5 40i is worth it - but the Lexus rides better.
X5 40i vs Kluger Grande? No brainer.

Just wondering how the 250h longterm tester is going? The waiting list for purchase is 6 months !!!
When is Lexus RX 3.5 F Sport adding turbo or more powerful motor
I regret not getting one of these in 2011 instead I got an xc90.
Interesting. Why the regret?

It’s definitely an improvement - and the smartphone tech will hopefully get more people off their phones.
That screen is similar to one in Mazda 3 hatch and sedan
Yeah, it is.
Very nice Lexus👍
I like the Ikea wood-grain finish on the centre console...not so much.
Fair enough. It’s bamboo. You can feel the texture. Might be one of those things that works better in the flesh...
This is honestly the best luxury SUV/crossover under 50k. The just need to tackle the infotainment a bit more.
Yeah, a new infotainment system would be great, but at least there is smartphone mirroring now.
Australian car reviews are a whole lot sexier.
Look, we try
Can the luxury package be clubbed with a panoramic roof option ?

Coincidence I guess.

Not mine, thankfully!
Interiors still look like from the 90s! No digital instrument cluster. Far less torque even from a V6 engine.
I think there’s still a market for a more traditional vehicle, but I agree, a Q5/Q7 has a more impressive cabin in terms of tech.
