How does wiping with mineral oil remove excess oil? Did you mean mineral spirits?

Armor all original ? What about the other newer "shines" and wonder if the wipes would work ?
ALSO does it matter if the Armor All is put on first ?

Ironically, it's about the only good use for Armor All

There are several Armor All spray products, can anyone tell me which one to use?

I've heard about this before but never have seen it done. I didn't know anything about the mineral spirits though I've never heard that at all. What exactly does the mineral spirits do again? And if it drives it that fast why couldn't you just use 0000 steel wool to slick it down instead of using the mineral spirits?

It's mineral oil, and only if you get a snot like buildup on the surface, so you basically just glide over the finish and collect said buildup without touching the refined surface.

@@xReggaDx sorry, I meant mineral oil. I've heard of the armor all and true oil, but I didn't know about the mineral oil. It takes me several days to do a rifle stock waiting on tru oil to dry.

Question please, does this process leave a darkened coating on the scale pins? Or are the pins buff-able to mirror finish post application.

I’ll have to give it a try.

    What is Armorall?

Is that mineral oil or mineral spirits?

      He said mineral oil.

He said "To remove excess oil, add a couple drops of mineral oil" - but that makes no sense to me.

@@phillight2008 Nothing made sense on this video. There is no way TRU-OIL will completely dry in 1 minute. It would be sticky and leave finger prints. I call Bullshit on this video.

@@user-cb1vo1ik4b So, assuming you want to build up many thin coats, do you have to use a solvent to remove the mineral oil before the next coat? You generally want a completely clean, oil-free surface before applying any varnish.
