looks like a good starting point, I would probably send the kite a little faster. Also if u try to get ur load and pop to be more vertical (since on the footage ur somewhat going downwind) It will help make the transition a lot easier. And yeah board a little more downwide so u dont catch and edge hehe
Looking great, particularly the back rolls👍 I'd suggest edging hard up wind and bar in when your nearly stationary, that way you go straight up and then start moving the new direction as the kite goes over and dives
Thanks karlo, yes heading out to sea is my weak side, can't pop, can't do anything with my back foot (left), so even to get any kind of jump is a miracle really. But I'm defiantly not pointing my board downwind, and I keep saying it to myself. Quite frustrating actually, I'm not really sure how to do them properly 🤷🏼♂️
@@thebeginnerkiteboarder4489 yeah pops come with time, alot of time. I also found it quite hard when it came to pointing my board downwind. It helped when I developed my core strength but I usually say in my head pop send down. Pop would correlate to popping and sending the kite up. Send means sending the kite back down. And down would be pointing my board downwind.
Try slowing down as you approach the jump, try to keep kite at twelve, then as you start to descend say a couple of feet from water aggressively send the kite even downloop to stop the bogging down

@@olrak1670 that's very good advice, I like it, cheers. Should be a session on tonight so I'll give it a go! 🤘

cheers yes the down loop is my next thought for sure, watch this space
when you jump keep your hends in the middle of the bar
What size kite and what was the wind speed?
It was a North Evo 12m, wind speed around 22 knots for the most part.
