I have absolutely loving all of the uploads! Shoutout to DCA and the team for giving us a ton of great content 😁
This has been a great showing of knives, and I'm really excited by some of the products we've seen at SHOT this year.
More than that, I want to say thanks to DCA and crew for these last few videos. It definitely takes a whole lot of effort to do something like this, make so many videos, and make it all look effortless, particularly during a pandemic. Dave consistently shows as much knowledge about the products he is handling as the representatives they have showing them, and that's not a knock on the reps.
Thanks for all the great content, objective info, and informed opinions.

YES! Ive been waiting for the right version of the AGK, and here it is. Especially love that brown micarta! Im glad to be patient and wait for ESSE to work everything out. Great brand, and a great group of guys. They certainly have my business for life.

These knives by Esse are a favorite if mine and has been for a while now. I love the look and I have never had a problem with D2steel. Great knives⚡🗡️⚔️🇺🇲

Hey DCA, fantastic interviews I'm watching all your interviews one by one... I bought the churp several months ago and it's a fantastic little knife I never handle a D2 blade before and wow it's sharp like a razor. It's perfect size for cutting fruits and steaks on my lunch break at work. DCA enjoy shot show...
3-d handles are really cool ... bet it makes a world of difference.
On one hand...I'm so happy your busy. On the other hand...the s35vn series 🤤🤤🤤. Can't wait.
It’s a double edged sword for sure.
whoever came up with that Orange-Black pattern, give them a high five and a raise, that's brilliant.
That tiger stripe pattern (laminated g10) has been around a while. The way we milled it and added ridges give it a unique look for sure.
Those small fixed blades have impecable design this may be the year I have to snatch those 2!

Can you guys please remake the Avispa and Zancudo folder with g10 on both sides of the handle, gimping possibly a linerlock, and keep the blade shapes in 1095, 3v or keep the D2?
I'm not a huge fan of the LOOK of the Chirp but it does look super useful and damn that is hard to beat at $20

I have Esee 3 (3D) both 1095 and s35vn, Esee4 (3D) both 1095 and s35vn and Esee 6 (3D), love their knives and designs, but this year nothing that cought my eye.... greetings from Bosnia!
We aren’t offering much for the reasons stated in the video. Last two years have been bonkers

The Rowen heat treat on these s35vn blades is absolutely incredible. Bought a xancudo several months ago and I have been beating the crap out of it since.. I DID re-profile the edge to 20 degrees on each side…. factory edge was a little shallow for my liking, but now all I have to do is strop it a few times and it’ll shave again.
So on our s35vn knives we have to send them out to another facility....Rowen does NOT do the heat treat on the stainless blades...but he heat treat is spot on.

I feel for ESEE with both shortages of materials and people. It's so difficult when you have great ideas, great plans, and a way to execute if only you had one, the other, or both. I'm glad they're still working and producing such great knives.

Man we are buried in work and are grateful for everything we’ve got going on. Everyone in the industry and manufacturing as a whole are all in the same boat. Just know that we appreciate the patience and support of our dealers and customers.

I seriously want to move to the USA! Even at the age I am I feel that there are so many opportunities, and with the shortage of labour getting a job should be fine...anyway the Esee knives are so fine and the design on them look superb and one day I will own one

Love my 2.5. The 3.0 will be really nice. Don’t know if I should get the micarta or g10.

I was waiting for the 3.0..... but the AGK in 35 kind of shakes it up.
Both are very nice and capable blades. As soon as I hear something definitive I will put it on BLAST.
@@RandallsAdventureESEE Yes please, been holding off buying the CR2.5 for over a year, due to the anticipated 3.0. Although I like 1095 over S35VN (I'm in the minority, it's ok), the 3" might be a bit more useful. Heck I don't know.
I love love love Esee. I sadly only have one. It's the Xancudo with s35vn. I wear it as a neck knife. With me wherever I go. My wife has three Esees. The 6, 4, and Izula. All three of them are great.

Very excited about those new fixed blades. Would love to see a PR4 and a PR5, both with a fatter handle. Maybe even an ESEE 6HM black oxide.

I like the AGK knife, however I despise the overpowering billboards, on both sides of the blade.
Don't own one (they look great tho) but I noticed that as well. A bit too much.
With use you won’t notice them after a bit. High contrast on the shiny blade makes them seem bigger side sure.
Good people get good rewards, and vise versa. Especially, in these difficult times.

It's called the Ashley Game Knife (ESEE-AGK) and designed by a guy that has processed a LOT Of game and the design shows.
Thats a knife, but those are Nesmuks and I want one.

I am a huge fan of ESEE, but I have to say the same as I say to Case. Taking an existing knife and putting different handles on it is not a new knife. It is adding an option or accessory to an existing model. The new blade steels - I don't think I would call it a new knife either. Its adding an option to an existing pattern.
Semantics…. It’s new to us and the market and considered a new product.

I love esee designs but the branding on the blade is too much. It has stopped me from making a purchase before.

You can always get a powercoated model and strip it, its fairly light etching IIRC

Mora is across from us and about 1/10 the size as normal. Not sure why. There are a lot of blank booths with many pulling out last minute.

Lessons learned, never tease a product line that you can't produce and bring to market in a timely manner. Thank you for creating the CR3.0, now fire the marketing team who decided to tease it to the public.
I'm the marketing team...and I've got nothing to do with production OR with a continued order volume that has not let up...but I get it and agree..I wish we'd never released the 3.0 or the AGK...my crystal ball was on the fritz when that decision was made.

ESEE brings Uncle Bubba from down south to the show and just shows the same thing ESEE always does, the most reliable, keep-it-simple-stupid knives on the market. Can't wait for s35v Candiru. Love you guys.

Yup, the AGK will be coming with me on my next hunt. I wish they had a Churp made in the USA, I would gladly pay double to have one made in the states. Won’t buy one made in China.
I want it but I don't want my knife to say "Ashley" on it. If it was just AGK, cool. To be fair I also don't want my knife to blatantly say "Greg" on it...these are not my names.

I’ve been waiting for over a year... Just going to give up on the 3.0 ever happening. Can’t believe a projected date / quarter was not given.
Way more to this story and we touched on part of it in the video.
Have faith my friend, Shane is not blowing smoke. As a consultant for a large corporation and I can tell you acquisition of labor and raw materials have been protracted at best. Combine that with increased demand and you have a serious supply issue. We also need to understand this is a for profit company (evil words right?). Sometimes maximizing marginal profit means building inside your core product offerings. Imagine if you couldn't keep your core products on the shelf due to high demand and supply constraints, at the same time you're leaning into an entire new lineup? What would you do when presented with that decision? Esee did the right thing and will come out of Covid a financially stronger company (as long as the CFO isn't an idiot) and from the perspective of an end user that is a good thing. btw I have no personal insight into the company or it's personnel, I just enjoy their tools like the rest of the folks here. Cheers.
@@GeneHouse you get it...thanks for expounding, much better than I could I might add......We had to make some HARD decisions and those were based on LONG TERM success...we also know that the pendulum ALWAYS swings back and we took that into account as well..

Mask police patrolling the venue. Some go easy some get a little testy. That’s why I’m drinking water and my mask is on my hand. To come here and exhibit/attend we had to agree to their rules. Also, some folks may have had a vastly different Covid experience than others. I appreciate Davids courtesy to us in how he approached it.

Esee is good stuff, just make sure you get the USA made versions, China knives are garbage.
ESEE has no knives made in China.... We have licensed some DESIGNS manufactured by BRK (Zancudo, Avispa, Churp...and also the RAT 1 and 2 folders from Ontario)
