it is really important to only use a stainless steel knife blade when cutting foods! 🔪 I use a Gerber 'FAST Draw' folding stainless steel knife for cutting food. ⚠️The coated knife blades will leave a toxic residue in food
going to be honest, I have way too big of a knife collection; (full customs, semi-custom, and on and on) and hands down, the Esee Izula S35VN - there probably isn't a better all around knife design/steel/price combo on the planet... -a heavy knife user
Normally wear gloves but I haven't had a problem with it pretty good grip use the esee 5 on the farm over here in Australia it's way better than anything built this way has helped me with alot of tasks and I abuse it like crazy and still going strong
@@TrystaanVerde-b8q if I were starting fresh, that Sencillo in MC is pretty slick 👍 Still less versatile of a design than the Izula imo; that ring, it's thinness/concealability, etc really just nailed perfection in a compact blade... If they made that in MC man, that's it. Don't need another blade in the sub 4" range ever again 🤷👍
Nice run down guys. Thx. Of all my ESEEs the 5 is fav hands-down. As big as it is, I find it incredibly versatile. I’m a bushcraft guy, not so much into EDC (Avispa folder >gasp< is clipped to my pocket). So, if I could only have one, tha 5 is the one.
I have a CS Survivalist for about €90,-- Now, I really like the looks of Esee6 a lot, but they cost more than 2 times the price, about €210,-- over here. Sincere question : Is the Esee6 really 2 times 'better'? Stronger? Tougher? Stays sharp longer? Thanks in advance to all responders! Greets from the Netherlands 🇳🇱, TW.
I have bought several from you guys: the Xancudo, the Esee3, and lastly, the Esee 4. They have all been awesome. I also got a stainless Esee 3 that is so handy. I really like the newer contoured and rounded handles.
I own a Esee 3 in S35VN but I hate it because of the finger choil. You forget their best knife, the Esee Laser Strike, that knife is so awesome that I bought 2.
Hmmmm…. If I had to pick only one of my Esee’s I would have to pick my Izula in S35vn with extended scales. That belong said I really enjoy all of them. Get one, enjoy it, use it…
They keep saying it doesn't matter if you break it.... unless you're life depends on it not breaking . Stuck out the field and breaking your Esee I'm pretty sure you can't call support on your sat phone and have a new knife delivered in a few weeks. That being said I have a Becker BK2 which is probably one of the best unbreakable knives but It's too big and I would rather have an Esee 4. It's probably the right balance for short term survival meaning like somewhere like under a year. If you are trapped on island for 40 years I'll take Becker
Had the exact same thought and I also have a BK2 haha, couldn’t agree more. My go to whenever I leave the cabin and want the peace of mind of knowing my knife essentially can’t be broken. Day to day it’s a lot to carry around for my uses, but whenever I go far out, the BK2 always comes with me
I should not watch this, but it will come back and haunt me. So I may as well just open up another tab, log into my account, and get my credit card ahead of time. Okay, let's get this over with.
Answer: all of them. What you will have with you everyday is your edc. What you take camping may be bigger. Yard work is always fun with a big sharp knife! Sharpen and oil your knives, sharpen and oil your shovels too!
The 4 would be absolutely amazing if they offered it with the 5 and 6 handle style matched in size to the 4. As in basically make the 4 exactly like the 6 or the 5 but in the 4's size. A miniature 6 or miniature 5.
Was thinking the same thing. I own a whole lot of Esee’s and the LS is top dog all-arounder. When i only have room for one knife, that’s it. I dont care about the garbage they put in the handle, but hey, it isn’t hurting anything either.
How can 1095 steel be positioned for survival, especially on the Amazon River, if this steel easily corrodes in wet places? There is always high humidity in the woods. How can rusty knives be used outdoors? And you can’t cut the food because it dangerous for your health, because of coating on steel, it’s written on their website.

My worry is the guard doesn’t protect against slipping up. Must be ok if you haven’t had a problem with it

Izula SV vs Sencillo in MagnaCut?

I have 6 in total, I do love them.
Nice show guys! Thanks for your sharing! May the knives be wit ya!

They make the Izula, Xancudo, 3, 4 and AGK in S35VN stainless as well. The new Sencillo is available in A2 or Magnacut.
ESEE 4 is the BEST EDC
That 4 handle... 🥰
Yes to paracord wrapping Izula's to keep weight/thickness down as opposed to adding handles.
I see Kich is wearing a Countycomm TDW - SOPMOD2 in blue.
Nice. 😎

Got a bunch of em! Strong as bulls!
I have 4 esee knives, the original junglas, the 4hm, meaning handle modified, the 5 and 6, I love esee knives
Hello Y'all, that's the way a warranty should work. Just say'n. Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 😇🙏👊

What about the Laser Strike?
Esee3-hm (handle mod) is my goto woods tool. Tough but still a knife.
They will ask & they do care!
can you scrape a ferro rod with the back side on any or all of those? (izula, 2,3,4,5,6)
Not with the coating and ever so slightly rounded edges. I just carry a jigsaw blade for a striker.
Lots of folks sharpen the spine a bit for just this purpose. Esee makes fantastic knives!
Esee3 EDC PERFECTO 👌🏼
What is the purpose of the finger choil? It just looks like a great place to put your finger to get cut.
Actually, their first major design was the RTAK made by Newt Livesay of the Wicked Knife Company in Arkansas.
Awsome !!! Videoquality
I own a Esee 3 in S35VN but I hate it because of the finger choil.

Esee = 100% American Greatness! Best camp knife: JG5
Esee has micarta scale options for candiru

But, like, where is the ESEE JG3 Black Oxide, huh?
Small business owner
Don’t abuse warranty its wasteful and depletes Profits to the company.

Esee has awesome warranty
I’ll have to check out the Esee 3! So far my favorite from Esee has been the AGK! It’s such a good hunting blade!
I couldn't make up my mind so I ended up with 2 ESEE-3, 2 ESSE-4, 2 ESSE-5, 2 ESSE-6, 1 Junglas, 1 Junglas II, 1 Izulu II.
RAT-7 is amazing
Where's tyler?
Haha, what are those storm troopers doin' back there in the corner?!!
LASER STRIKE MUCH!?

Every great blade will come back to haunt you forever 😂
Warranty is as good as Leathermans warranty, oh only difference is that Leatherman as a tool is crap and Esee is quality.
