I've been watching street food videos on TH-cam for a few times. Definitely Turkish food is both cleaner and tastier than other cuisines in the world. according to me, and very good video thanks!!!
It’s tasty!!! 🤤
Istanbul! You guys have blown away my preconceived notions for this city. This is a
bright, sophisticated and happening place.
Thanks for the kind words! We felt the same, this city has so much to offer! 🤘🏽
Sevgili dostum nasıl bir önyargı var sende şehrime karşı merak ettim doğrusu?
❤🎉🎉🎉
What was your opinion before seeing this?
I highly recommend that you visit the Asian side as well. Kadıköy, Moda, Bağdat Caddesi. They are all located near each other!
We did visit of few of those spots Deniz and loved it! Will definitely spend more time on that side next time 👍🏼

What is in Bağdat Caddesi?
We are not arabs, we dont say 'welcome habibi' we say 'hoşgeldiniz'
Well, you are multi-national country with Syrians, Afghans and Pakistanis.
@@Whiteshade if they live here they will learn turkish way of greetings not us . turks dont say hoşgeldin to german in Germany right ?
@@lynn_2909 We are talking about Turkey here. Germany has a strict foreign integration process while Turkey has open-border procedure to all nations.
nah the same logic whereever you are living you have to integrate there. As a person who lived in Ukraine for 10 years i never forgot i was just a visitor or not permanent ,kept on respect their culture and lifestyle. But the thing is these imigrants dont care turkish society and still wait to be respected by us
@@lynn_2909 There is no such thing as Turkish society. You all share same middle eastern culture and you should get along. I hope your government declare other languages as official language since there is more than 10 million refugees who can't speak Turkish and forced to speak Turkish.
Who knew Istanbul had such amazing food??! I love the coffee scene but hey you guys definitely made me give Istanbul a second look for a visit! Love you guys and your channel 👏 👏
Everybody but you I guess 😂
u have to visit istanbul. I promise u wont regret it :)
we call it koulouri in Greece
I went in December. I'd go back in a second.
Did no one realise the famous Turkish actor at 4:16 in the back from ask laftan anlamaz❤❤❤😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
That’s him 👍🏽
Wow! By far the best food review video of Istanbul. Thank you so much for this amazing video. I am planning to go to Istanbul in September, and I am often overwhelmed by the amount of things to and the amount of different foods to try. In this video, everything is clear, concise and straight to the point. Istanbul looks like an amazing place with so much culture. The food looked absolutely amazing. I am Persian of origins, and I am pleased to see how many foods from my culture are similar to the Turkish culture, such as baklava, the kebabs, the yoghurt drink( we call it dookh) and the pickled vegetables in juice( we call it Torshi) and the chai which, in our country we drink, holding a sugar cube between our front teeth. Often time our chai will be flavoured with saffron and rose, petal water. Thanks again for your hard work and putting this together.😊👍👌
There is some spesific city in Turkey called "Erzurum" drink the "çay" just like you described. They first hold the sugar between their teeth and drink the tea :) This is an old culture for us i guess, but still there are a lot of similarities with your culture ! :)
Wow, thanks for the kind words! Glad this video was helpful!! All the best, enjoy the delicious food! 🤤
Thank you for a fantastic video summarizing many/most the main/iconic foods to try in Istanbul, that's just what I was looking for. Also so fantastic that you recommended one amazing restaurant where you can try a bunch of stuff. 👍👍👏👏
Glad it helped, enjoy! Thank yiu
Oh what a luck! Burak Deniz who is a famous turkish actor is at the next table at the künefe place hahah
Nice catch! He was a really nice guy! 🤘🏽
i was wondering that nobody notice burak in the video finally i am not the only one who noticed….
4:21 how on earth has no one noticed Burak Deniz🫢
This is the best Turkish street food video I')e seen ever. It has everything I know and love since childhood and the information you give is very accurate (some stuff even I didn't know). It encompasses all kinds of street food in western Turkey (at least the ones I know about the most in Izmir as I grew up).
Turks have beans they call rooster. They cook it in a casserole. And rice. They pour the beans over the rice. Rice and beans will not be separate. Rice, beans and yogurt. Oh my god 😍 This food is absolutely from heaven 😊
Yeah its name is “Barbunya” in Turkish and the food’s name is “Barbunya pilaki”
@@hlq3223ne barbunyası ya,kurufasulye...

Amazing video. One of the best ones I have seen. Thanks
Thanks! We really enjoyed ourselves in Turkey!
Going to Turkey in September. This video is vey helpful. Thank you.

I want to try the delights of Turkish cuisine.
All my favorites!!! As a Turkish person you did try a large portion of our famous foods

Nice video...thanks for sharing
luv the video deserves alot of viewss!!!😃
Aaaa que vibe boa desse vídeo…. cheio de alegria e uma riqueza de sabores, iguarias, culturas … gostei e deu até fome hahahah
Lamb for $4 and Turkish coffee for $1.50. Amazing. You do great videos and Olivia jumping and dancing in the background is just hilarious. It adds so much. It’s like jumping for joy.
it is amazing only for tourists..
LOVED this. Would love to see something similar for other cities: Paris, Vienna, Brugge, etc. etc. etc. VERY fun.
Maybe next year 🤔
The man behind you talking while you are eating Künefe is Burak Deniz. He is a very famous actor in Türkiye, I'm surprised I saw him in this video hahaha
Good eye 👁️
nobody cares..
Awesome, thanks for sharing. This video definitely made me HUNGRY! Good job. 😎❤🔥💯
lol not burak deniz sitting next to you guys HAGAH and him looking at your table 😂
he's trying to hide too lol
This gets me so excited for our trip! Too much amazing food. How long were you there?
You guys are going to have an epic time! 🤘🏽We were there for just under a month. I recommend at least a week, also a good idea to devote a day to Kadiköy and Besiktas too!

Excelente!!
Anúncio de primeira qualidade!
Best video on Istanbul’s food
you put nearly every Turkish street food to the list and a very good footage. lamb intestines are the most popular one.
Haha glad we covered most of it! Cheers!
@@ONWorldTravel ı recommend to you “Kokareç” in İzmir style this type is thickly chopped meat without vegetables and thicky chopped. Its more meaty.
THERE WAS A TURKISH ACTOR BEHIND YOU GUYS!! AT THE SIDE TABLE WHILE YOU GUYS WHERE EATING KUNEFE!! HIS NAME IS BURAK DENIZ!! OMG HAHAHHA
Good eye 👁️
@@ONWorldTravel hah ofc👀
My wife and I are travelling to Turkey in August for our honeymoon and we found your video to be extremely insightful and informative. Thanks for the great advice. #NewSubscriber
Thanks, glad it was helpful! All the best and safe travels! You’re going to have a wonderful time!
Ülkemizi nasıl buldunuz beğendiniz mi selamlar?
Must try was the çağ kebap of Sehzade. The lamb cooked on a horizontal rotating spit. It's affordable and doesn't have the gamey taste.
Great video. OMG. That made me Hungry.
So many tasty options! 🤤 Thanks!
Cute kitty doorman at 7:20 behind you!!!
Check out the famous Fish Wrap in Karakoy ; better than the dry sandwich version 👌
Would have loved to try that, Karakoy has great food!
Sounds great guys! Love your video. I arrive in Istanbul in two weeks. Who was the food guy explaining what Kunefe is made of? And top 5 restaurants I need to eat at? I have my list of about 30 but wanna see yours. Thanks heaps 😀
Selam bro İstanbul a geldinmi ve memnun kaldınmı ?
Very nice and short explanations of the foods.
Awesome, glad it was helpful!
I already knew what they were as am a local Turkih person but. What i wanted to say is people usually cant fit these much information in one video so it would be a grea guide for them if they want to visit 😀
Kokorec is so amazing. I can rarely eat instentine food, I can sometimes find it overwhelming, but I found Kokorec (maybe I got a well-made one) to have almost this crispy, super fatty, well-spiced dish that I just devoured in seconds.
Thank you!
My bad, i explored you very late. Even though i live just 120 kms away from Istanbul and visit there every weekend, i learned so much thing about the city from you. Highly appreciate it😊
Thanks! Yes, there is a lot of Turkish food to explore 🤤
Hello friend, I enjoyed watching this video, I am happy to know your channel and I can join you as your new subscriber from Istanbul. very delicious turkish food
Thanks you! All the best!
would of been nice if you would of put where we could locate these places Nathan. where to have that Turkish breakfast, the Kunefe is at the Pera Antakya restaurant? what about the Manti and Gozleme? and where do you recommend getting Lahmacum & Pide? and where is the Kumpir Located? lol thanks
Gideceğiniz heryerde dostum tek derdin bu olsun sorun yok ilk gördüğün dükkana gönül rahatlığıyla dalabilirsin😂
Maravilhosa a gastronomia ❤

you would definetely love to go blacksea of turkey that region has good food good weather and everything
Hi guys… im a new subscriber and im amazed watching your videos in Istanbul… for the food tour, what the name of Food Tour Company you used/booked… thank you… stay safe
Hey! We didn’t book any food tours, we just walked around the city and tried stuff! A few things we experienced through Airbnb experiences, and others we researched on our own! Best of luck! 🤤
Que pratos lindos pelo visto muito bons
How did you find a guide to take you to different places?
if you guys still have the records i'd love to see how much yall spent full time RVing for your 2nd year (last year) and see how it compares to your first year
We still want to make a video on that. At some point we’d like to put it together but currently it’s not in the immediate pipeline! Cheers🤘🏽
Where is that künefe place, looks great!
Hi can u pls let me know where is the kahvelti turkish breakfast that u tried in the video? The shop name
Look delicious 😮
It is 🤤
What restaraunt is the “quesadilla” and manta
Hey where is that location that you got the lemon taffy from?
probably istiklal avenue in taksim.. but the area has been infested by arabs and other uncivilized nationalities from stone age now..
Hey! New Subscriber here. We stumbled onto your channel and right off, loved the banner! What an amazing food tour; we never knew there were so many delicious Turkish dishes! Great job and we will definitely be checking out more of your videos.
Thanks a lot! 😂 we’re having fun with it, all the best!
What’s the lats and longs of the kahvalti place? I would like to visit.
Do you remember the name of the restaurant where you had the Buryan?
Where about do you get a good cup of cappuccino
Very nice ❤
4:25 , in this time I realized that a very popular actor behind you guys ..... lucky you
Hi guys, you know who I just saw in the restaurant? I saw the Turkish actor.
Good 👁️
I must say the best baklava is in Karaköy Güllüoğlu. Çiğköfte in street is without meat bec of eu restrictions, you need to try in a restaurant doing it with meat Karaköy there is one for it also. Nice video though.
You’re making me hungry 😂😂😂
Perfect
Thanks!
4:22 Burak Deniz

Isn't that Burak Deniz from Ask Laftan Anlamaz? at 4:11 He's at the back
Aí sim 😮
God this looks amazing
🤤
what was the place these lot ate kunafeh in ??
afiyet olsun
Thanks Murat! We loved it!
wow turkey
🤘🏽
The reason why they sometimes serve each mussel individually for your is because very rarely it can happen that a mussel has gone bad, since it can get very hot in Turkey during daytime. An untrained eye wouldn't even notice, hence why seafood is notorious for causing food poisoning, but they usually can tell immediately
Good to know, we always wondered about that 🤔 thanks!
❤❤ Nice
I have been there for 7 times but have not tried some food from your video ahah
There’s so much to try!
in my country we had similar caramel candy , but taste bitter , i don't know that lemon can make different or not
im from turkey and sure... there is so GOOOOOOD'! (I'll eat that so much day)
Git İngilizce öğren lan,rezalet...

Wow, we unfortunately discovered you late at night, when we should not be thinking of eating😮....you guys had AMAZING food😢...we're starving now😋☹️! That food is really healthful too! Problem is, after you go home, your food will never again taste good😅
The food is so goooood! 🤤
