  • Guilford Technical Community College Professor Jeff Kinard taught a class about Civil War weaponry and shared artifacts such as muskets, carbines, and revolvers. He described technological advances, such as breech loading and rifled barrels, that allowed soldiers to fire faster and with more accuracy.

The lecture itself is okay but This is a weird and blurry photo. Fire your TH-cam admin. Get someone better. There’s no effort nor creativity put into this channel

Yo - whoever is in charge of thumbnails for this videos should be fired. Every-single-post is terrible. Looks like a eulogy every time.

I actually presume it was intentional. Whenever i see such a thing i see the work of a rabid ideologue. Remember who you are attempting to speak to and know they are not listening. They’d grin ear to ear that you are upset

@@TheJamesLykinsi don’t have proof of it per se. i’ll admit that. Alternatively he submitted the photo himself. Happy? Think what you like. I have my reasons for not speaking charitably in cspans favor. Its a long story.
They are attempting to elevate the discourse. Good. It reminds me of the hoover institute. Glad they are doing it. They arent as completely rotten as pbs or npr. I appreciate their non partisan presentation. It only ever came through in the selection of topics and presentation. And the presenter personality types.
The real reason for my anger would take a while to explain. So i’ll leave it there and say you’re right for your sake given the nature of the video.
But if you’re trying to pivot to a new format, they should be capable of better. There. We agree.
When it comes to conspiracies i look at original source documentation, transcripts, etc. and guess what? Most of the time i found that the media used its position to hide the truth you’d find there, and presented a state approved reality show for kids like you to formulate your beliefs on instead. There will never be a time in my life and many i know that trust in the media generally can be restored. And that includes cspan. Sorry. The reason for that you can look up now is the bill that passed in 2013 regarding the news media. Try some research of your own to see what that would be. I worked for a newspaper when that happened. Have fun.

Because it’s history and it’s important to document, remember, ponder, learn from.
