On waking up from his nightmare in his office, Indy goes over to Marcus, who also seems to be having a nightmare. Marcus mutters something like "I can't find the exit, this place is like a labyrinth." Possibly in reference to him getting lost in his own museum once, as we're told in The Last Crusade.
In Gizeh, there are several Star Wars hieroglyphics you can find. There is the classic C-3PO-R2D2 Easter egg that was in Raiders found when exploring the chamber below the Sphinx. It’s hidden on a mural (like in the movie) But when have to photograph the dream stela, there is a hieroglyph of the Millennium Falcon, and when exploring the Pyramid, there’s a glyph of Han Solo frozen in Carbonite. I recommend you use your camera to zoom in to see better.
Club Obi Wan has a cameo in the Shanghai level. Also, the flying wing airplane from Raiders of the Lost Ark makes an appearance at the beginning of the Gizeh level.
Your forgot to mention that on Indy's classroom desk he has a gigantic Bible, that same Bible was used in Raiders when he was talking to the government guys about the Ark.
Another fun detail about the Disneyland ride reference is that in the bottom left corner of the map you can see a river with some animals and native huts scattered about. That is actually a nod to another Disneyland ride The Jungle Cruise! In the park, geographically, the Jungle Cruise ride is right next to the Indy ride. Such a cool easter egg.
Dance being held at Marshall College will have a performance by Willie Scott. On the flyers around Marshall . Antonio calling indy "Henri" from the young indiana jones Chronicles. Plus, Indy giving him the jazz record is also young indiana jones related.
This may be a reach, but when Indy is packing his suitcase, he grabs a jazz record as a gift to father Antonio. This may be a reference to the Young Indy adventures when Indy was in college in Chicago during prohibition and takes a liking to jazz. This was also the only episode in the series to feature Harrison Ford
If I was a game designer, I'd make a small crevace/cave behind all waterfalls. Not saying there would be anything useful, but one would definitely have something on the cave wall that said "Fool! You fell for my trap" and then a trap goes off
If you just immediately go back to your room or w/e after you get to the college you'll get the temple of the forbidden eye (from disneyland) map that disney gave out the first few months after the ride opened.
Something I thought was funny is in the Shanghai part. Gina is flying the plane while you as Indiana man the machine gun on the back and shoot down the pursuing planes. I accidentally blasted my tail wing off. And Gina yells something like "what's going Jones the plane won't gain altitude" or something like that and Indy says "umm they got us" ......kind of like in the last crusade when Sean Connery shoots off the tail wing on the plane and Indy says something like the controls are sluggish and Sean Connery doesnt want to admit he's the one that shot off the tail wing so he tells Indy "I'm sorry son they got us"
Crazy they have this and I'm sure very few people actually experienced it! I wish you could replay chapters. I would replay the Himalayas and Shanghai.
What about the Samson donkey jawbone Easter egg? It is found in the sarcophagus below the Vatican. With help from the Internet, I was able to solve that puzzle. Upon opening the sarcophagus, I didn’t have to consult the Internet to figure out what the jawbone was and its significance.
Very clever mate, this is a great idea with the green screen. I dont care what anyone says. If she was my student flashing, I love you, and I'm not sure I could resist that, lol.
Yes. When you are in Gizeh, you learn that a German Ship disappeared near Peru. Gina (the mandatory female side kick) asks how could it disappear, to which Indy remarks “maybe it hit an iceberg”. She then says “An iceberg that close to the equator?” To which Indy then says they pop up when you least expect them
In Voss office in Giza we can find document about missing u-boot somewhere in Peru, this is a reference to Uncharted 1 where we can find u-boot in the middle of the jungle and in both cases they went on classified misson
This is the first non-VR game I've played in 10 years, and I think I've been spoiled. It's like watching a really good movie ruined by pressing bloody buttons... 🥸

Exactly what I thought 😂
Or the dream sequence you have later

Henri Defense:)
Love that they kept the mispronunciation of Satipo's name, as Harrison Ford flubbed it as Sapito in the movie.

I don't think Indie has many friends who aren't published authors, so his lack of reaction might not be that strange.
No secret behind a waterfall? Straight to video game jail.
At least they put a cave & reference in there. There's nothing worse than a waterfall with an overhang that doesn't even have a cave behind it.
If I was a game designer, I'd make a small crevace/cave behind all waterfalls. Not saying there would be anything useful, but one would definitely have something on the cave wall that said "Fool! You fell for my trap" and then a trap goes off
@@Ottertone Perfectly acceptable.
@@Ottertone devious but perfect for an Indy game!
There actually is a secret behind a waterfall in the game.

There is also a poster in the college down by the front desk where you find Indy's employee card that references Willie Scott from Temple of Doom.
I studied Archaeology and Ian didn't need to dust off his suit, I promise you 😂
Missing: Henri Defense callback from Young Indiana Jones series

Honestly I think a lot of the biblical references went over people’s heads. But when I saw this I lmao. Samson was a BA
Professor Ian is peak Ian! Just ask Shirley.

The word 'Hispanic' pertains to things Spanish but perhaps it should mean 'snake phobia'. 🙂
You forgot the reference to the Young Indiana Jones series. Callback of the alias Henri Defense
God i hope there is a coat hanger as a weapon somewhere in this game ! I have spent ³hrs in gizah looking nothing yet !
He references Marya and the volcano later in another document.
fairy skeletons behind the waterfall on game+ lol
Any Titanic references? A young Indie did survive the sinking of the Titanic.

It’s a battleship lost off the coast of Peru.
