In the Lost World: Jurassic Park, several characters are hiding from a T-Rex behind a waterfall as a result of their camp being ambushed- one of the characters hiding freaks and runs out of the waterfall to die because of a snake going on his shoulder. Both Lost World and Indiana Jones were directed by Spielberg so this might be a reach but that’s all I can think of
Also a secret behind a waterfall is also a reference to a game Indiana Jones and The Emperor's Tomb, where in the beginning of the first level is a waterfall with a secret behind it :D

The use of cinematic lighting and Indie's shadow/silhoette throughout, just like Raiders, was what impressed me most. Another thing I noticed was the clear references to James Bond:James Bond being the character that inspired Indie; and why he wore the same white blazer with red Rose as Sean Connery in Temple Of Doom, and why Connery himself was headhunted to be his Dad in The Holy Grail. SPOILERS: Firtly, the Giant, Locus, followed the same story arc as the giant in Bond, Jaws, that culminated in him sacrificing himself to save the main protogonist and the day in Moonraker (just without the busty little pig tailied scandinavian cutie at the end of it all 😂- and the Ark in the snow in the alternative ending suggests he survived also after all, just like Jaws). Secondly, even though they had great chemistry and clear feelings for each other, Indie uncharacteristically didn't get the girl at the end, exactly as happened in the book Moonraker with his female companion that he'd been to hell and back with throughout; it was the adventure and danger that had made the bond between them so strong, and now, that was over. And thridly, Gantz shouting I am invincible, before his instant untimely death, exactly like Boris from Goldeneye. This game is just too well designed for these to be just co-incidence in my mind. Great game. 👍

I am so disappointed that the game didn’t give you an achievement or something called “don’t bring a knife to a gun fight” or anything along that line. Cause shooting that soldier with your revolver was the first thought that came to mind

☠️
Nope

what? This game is simply fantastic... but to say it's the best game by a AAA company is absurd.
There is another easter eggs during the plane section at the end of that section Jones says he might have trouble landing the plane, like how Ford cant land planes.
While a funny coincidence, it’s been established that Indy can’t land planes since Temple of Doom.
Henry Jones Sr: "I didn't know you could fly a plane!"
Indy: "Fly? Yes. Land? No."
!00% a nod to both temple of doom and the line in Last crusade. "fly yes... land? no"
While entering the building in Shanghai you can see the dragon and the dong from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom at the opening

The building he's flying through is even the Obi-Wan bar as well, 0:57

Still could... I truly hope they do a sequel of this game.
I’m hoping for a prequel to Temple of Doom
Gina's blouse dynamically responds to the boats speed in the Shohothai level
The Obiwan bar refers to Lao Che. But what you missed was that Lao Che was the name of a Cantina in Star Wars.
