I've been to both his house, and the library in Venice. That's what makes Indiana Jones such a good movie series. It's authentic work, and they rarely ever used green screen. Such a great series, man.
I was this summer at Venice and saw the library! Cool fact is, you can actually go just like characters in the film, through the bridge to reach the square where library is placed! This bridge is really a path to the library
@michakozera8279 Yeah, sadly last summer, when I went, we couldn't go in because it was under construction for a temporary Da Vinci museum. So...sadly, I couldn't see if any Roman numerals were in there.
@@UVClipzI will tell you - they are no! Interior was shot in studio in London. Only bridge and library (church actually) are worth paying attention. Da Vinci exhibition also sounds great but we didn't have time
@michakozera8279 yeah, I suspected my expectations for what I would've wanted to see in the museum would not exceed me, and I would've been very disappointed to fund there are zero numerals on the ground, in the "church".
10:11 Even on a Tiny Phone screen it's obvious to see that Chasm doesn't drop out of frame, she just walks through the doorway and into the shadow of the threshold, and since his suit is dark, he blends into the background.

I think when Indy looks at the X in the library, I think there's a reason he's looking at it for so long before going up the stairs, the X itself is shiny, where the rest of the floor is matte, so I think you ONLY could see it from at the top of the stairs at that time. You're absolutely right! But Spielberg movies deserves many summers, one is not enough, and Crystal Skull was an OK movie, not better than any of the original trilogy but a worthy ending, treating Indiana Jones with respect unlike disney depressing abomination!

I think we need a T-Shirt with Erik's face and it just says "Voss is The Boss!" On it as merch.
Please don't skip Crystal Skull, and do Dial of Destiny too!!!
My top three movie. loved the call backs to other films. Also great catch on the Empire March being played during Donovan's party!
When can we expect the Kingdom of Crystal Skull video?
Love the video but I was wondering are you going to do the TV show as well?
I think I have this movie to credit my wanderlust dreams (seeing this as a child it seemed so cool) now I'm an anxiety ridden adult
I'm a third generation Eagle scout and my 9 year old boy is loving scouts. Congratulations on the achievement!
4:06 Dr. Fantasy is also mentioned in Poltergeist, where the hotel sign at the end of the film welcomes Dr. Fantasy for some weekend magic shows.
In the german version the "Kein Ticket" line works really well xD
My favourite one! I miss Sean Connery.
Will there be New Rockstar finish the Indiana Jones rewatch series Easter Egg videos for Temple of Doom & The Last Crusade?
This is not only my favorite Indiana Jones movie, but probably my favorite movie of all time.
Your videos are so fun, thank you!
Nice deep dive and thanks for the tip for Brite Sellers
3:24 Raiders did it best, but these cold opens serve as a mini version of the films narrative.
Never watched this movie, going to now. I didnt know Silent Bob's, only spoken words in the movie Dogma: " No Ticket!" was a reference to this movie.
Love these deep dives, especially with movies from when I was young. I am sure you have done some X-Men reviews on NR, but consider doing it again DD style in the next few months so we can get more info before Deadpool and Wolverine whenever it actually comes out...Even if you don't, I love you and all the heavy lifting you do to make sure we understand why the directors and actors do what they do--Thank You❤
Just found your channel, and your reference to doing "Speilberg Summer" leads to my making this request: a Deep Dive into "The Adventures of Tintin" - the film he made with Peter Jackson. When Raiders came out, European critics compared it to the Tintin graphic novels. Speilberg found and read them and decided to film them. Tintin is a motion-capture masterpiece (made the same way as Avatar) that gives us chase scenes that would have been impossible in the real world.
A fantastic way to salute a great series and director! Can't wait for more!
