I really like the concept but I think they have made the boat too short. Making it say 11 foot long would improve space, seaworthiness and carrying capacity without increasing weight by much. Aliex, what's your opinion on how seaworthiness of this boat?
Id say the main thing I like about this is the 360 degree seat. It would be nice for days when I anchor down on a spot I want to fish but the wind wants to move me around. Id say the main thing I wouldnt like is theres not really a ton of storage space. I use a crate to carry my stuff. It also has all my rod holders mounted on it. And if I had a motor on the back there would be no room for it as the handle from the motor would be in the way. I had smaller kayaks before and Ill admit the are easier to transport and store. But then I moved up to one thats close to 12 feet and I love all the extra room. Plenty of room for all my stuff and to just be able to stretch out if I want to.
good luck trying to get one, and pelican also went up on the PWR 100 about $400 dollars when they FAILED to meet production dates.. Middle Finger to Pelican! I'll stick with my Hobie :)

I just picked up one of these used. There appears to be a drain/scupper under the seat but it’s not drilled out. Is that a scupper hole or is that a spot to drill out and put a recessed transducer?
I have watced alot of your reviews and you can tell that this boat is a winner. You have been genuinely (not commercially) impressed by this one. It really boils down to FUN. I have been waiting for the perfect 2nd sit on top kayak to add to my fleet and I think this is the one. I already have the outboard and trolling motor from my small boat so this kayak is a no brainer. Thanks for the great review!

My friends say I should buy a less costly yak before I commit to a more expensive pedal drive. This is the one . A 12 footer though. And if all works out I can get my pedal drive and have this as a spare for a friend . Thanks ! Great video !

This kayak is Incredibly hard to find. BassPro/Cabela's and Tractor Supply dont have it in stock (Tractor Supply actually removed it from their website this past week). Only place that has "some" is Academy, and the nearest Academy is a several day drive away :(
Great review I am a Stillwater and primarily River fisherman I've used several sports pal and Radisson style canoes with oarlocks and small oars which I prefer, question I have is the large rails that are next to the seat the big ones can those be adapted to or put a or lock in to paddle like a traditional boat?

Really interesting design. Now if they made a 12 or 14 ft. model they would really sell many more of them. The biggest con for many is it's only 10 ft. It feels like it's just a toy at that size.

I think you can make it work Jason, do a review of what you actually use on the water and minimize it, that being said a 12 footer would be great

Since the seat swivels 360 degrees why couldn’t the smallest ipilot trolling motor be mounted on the transom instead of a standard trolling motor?

Inside ? It is 10 ft long not sure how that would work inside I know is not heavy so you can probably van top it

I bought the basic Catch 100 six months ago and I love it. This thing has me intrigued. My favorite feature is the rotating seat. Great review!
