I'm looking at something for river floats and musky fishing. We just did a 9 hr float on a small Jon boat, but this looks like it would check off the boxes for what I need on the WI River (and others). Where did you get the outriggers from?
Own mine for two years. Electric trolling motor is way to go. Great for small local lakes. Seat is comfy. Wind does effect it, and registering was a issue. Dont stand in it, but you can stand in it. Trailer is recommended as it looks goofy due to size on car top of car. I used to fall out of all my other kayaks, but not this one.
If I was to get one I'd be putting my yamaha 4hp on it. Probably not advisable lol. I suppose I could always diy a bracket for my pedal kayak to accommodate the motor.
Came to see your review of the Catch 100, but completely distracted by your pole that's snagged a log
just picked one up last week. Havent gotten a chance to hit the water yet so I'm watching videos from other owners haha
Honestly it’s been pretty solid for a small water craft!!
I just got one thank you
Let’s go that’s huge! Enjoy!
Going to Hayden lake tomorrow morning. Hoping for some crappie and bass
Hey, good luck to you let me know how it goes!
What outriggers are you using? I can't see them on the video.
Check out one of my 1st videos how to build outriggers for a kayak! They are boat bumpers and conduit!

I made them brother! I actually made a video on how it was one of my 1st videos

Yeah that kayak absolutely surprised me when I was in it for a year! I love it and would recommend it to anyone! M glad you are enjoying yours

i think you could definatly do it, put a little whieght in the frront and it should off sset it!
It seems to me a kayak owner that people should not expect a kayak to be as stable or perform like a deep v or a large jon boat!
Thats true but when i fish on kayaks i like them to be stable!
Mine goes 5mph with a 2hp. Wonder why yours is slower.
Be cause I put outriggers on it that are mounted and can’t take them off!
@@walkingonwaterfishing ah ok. I would take those back off. I think it is plenty stable as it is.
