I think it's cruel and unusual personally. Not that one should ignore warrants and try to skirt the system; but it's unfair, unjust, and borderline entrapment by bringing suspects in en masse under the false pretense of a sweepstakes win or whatever.

Today there is no need for a dvd player because there's so many ways to watch movies for free. Kodi for example, a free software you can download on pc/ android devices/ cell phones/ xbox one. Not paying a dime for content. Or you could just use a normal web browser and google what you wanna watch. If you still have a DVD player you are hoarding for nothing. I had a warrant for my arrest over failure to pay $10! Yes I was arrested on my way to work because the government wanted $10 off a thousand dollar ticket that I paid! And yes I was arrested my car impounded Lost day of wages!!! The court actually thought that I did not pay the $10 ticket 9 years prior!!! But guess what folks I kept every single receipt I ever pay the government ever!!! Indeed I did pay that thousand dollar ticket in full! So I was wrongfully arrested wrongfully imprisoned over $10!!! I wrote the judge and told him about the predicament and that I wanted my original ticket expunged from my record!! It cost taxpayers $10,000 for their mistake! And I gladly took that money with a smile on my face! This all started because of an audit! I had proof of my innocence! Yet I was treated guilty until proven innocent! I wrote this is a warning to others!! Save your receipts!

I remember a story about this winding up costing the taxpayers a lot of money because one or two of the people they did this to already had taken care of their warrants and they were no longer active so they sued and won.

@@samuelculper4231 Apparently there were a couple situations where the system was wrong and people had already taken care of the warrant/ticket, so they sued and won. So im sure there were probably people that had zero clue. Ive had that happen..in college got arrested on bs, nothing ever happened after they let me out. Gave them my permanent address along with my apartment there were I went to school. Guess which address the sent the court notice to? Way after we moved to go home lol Which is why I gave my permanent address. So i got picked up on a traffic stop day after Thanksgiving to be driven to another city over the pettiest thing AND I wasnt wrong. They messed up multiple times. smh
