Destroy them all before it's too late! After that, your next target should be Cherry MX Blue, the switch that gives all mechanical keyboards a bad reputation.

It seems to have worked. I've only come across Glarses recently and he now has 641k subscribers. That's a pretty impressive increase since this video was made a year ago.

I have some! I may review them in the future, a lot of thought has gone into that switch and the outcome is really quite impressive

I'd just like to say that you did a good job with the editing on this one. I've seen other youtubers do the "two of me in one scene" trick by taking two videos and stitching them together, but you did a really good job here. I can't spot the "seam" where the two videos were stitched together, and that's impressive. Great work!

Favorite linears: NovelKeys Silk with Cream Top and Springs of kk Light Wave Switch (60g gold plated)
Favorite clickys: Kailh Box White
Favorite tactiles: Kailh Silent Box Brown
For linear switches, even my lubed gateron inks feels like a sandy mx brown when compared to steelseries omnipoint switches. Contact switches can never feel smoother and better than contactless, no way around it. Can't wait until we have more contactless options for our custom kbs. I'd be willing to pay a massive premium to have something like omnipoint or hall effect on a custom kb since the switches are virtually indestructible and truly worthy to be called "end game".

@@33s60 you need to try the omnipoint switches. Sure, they won't sound better because the keycaps are bad and the build is pretty average, but they're smoother than any of the MX clones you can make up. Contactless switches are more smooth than contact switches. It should be obvious by the name alone. Even if it's the smoothest contact switch that is physically possible, disregarding the price, they will still not be as smooth as contactless switches.

hmm... I'm not sure how the moment/feel you get from those long keys would translate to much smaller keys but I would not be opposed to trying it out
Wouldn't typewriters feel like a piano? since they have a long key as well as a hammer that hits the paper. Like a piano has a hammer that hits a string.

In this video he laments that Americans pronounce his name wrong, i.e. with a hard rhotic R in "Glarses". He was recently in a livestream with 3 American keyboard people, in which his name was pronounced this way throughout. Notwithstanding that I am Canadian and pronounce my Rs like Americans do, I still thought it odd that they pronounced Glarses' name incorrectly.
@@animalblundetto5673 You probably have heard of french if you're Canadian, and french has some weird spelling. this is how french (used to) spell onion "oignion" and it's still more or less pronounced onion, the "ig" is just silent for no reason. glarses being pronounced glasses is almost normal by french standards.
