as an art hobbyist with a lot of newfound interest in (but essentially zero experience with) custom keyboard building and different kinds of switches, i had literally never considered the concept of frankenstein-ing different stems and housing tops/bottoms before i came across this video. it feels akin to something like trying to make a watercolor painting with crayons. i love it
does it actually matter (planning to buy keychron v1 and gat yellows)

A Clacky switch in a normal, cheap board sounds bad enough but in a heavy aluminum case with no foam, its one of the worst sounds Ive ever heard
