Hi, Lecky! How you was able to Switch Off an ECC breaker? If Back up consists of Dedicated power supply line (220v) that switch over automaticaly or its a special UPS? If it was any abnormalities during Switch over?
@@leckyjake is it affect any ECC consumers during Switch over? I believe its very short timing but some times contactors "timelag" can be dangerous for such consumers like PLC or PC, is it?
I reviewed the system and I trusted the circuit but I do not recommend of doing it while the main engine is running. the vessel just had an history of slowing down due to lubricator shutdown caused by low insulation. but you are also right that there are instances that even milliseconds of delay in the activation it might affect the system, that is why, just like what I have said, I do not recommend of doing it.

we have back up power supply that will be ON once main supply is off, this is being fed from the emergency switchboard.
