last year I started my own painting business and I purchased both the interior and the exterior, and I can say that now I charged a fair price with a good profit and the best thing is that you can adjust the sheet to your business need, now when I show with an iPad and measuring laser customers get the impression that I am an experienced estimator 😅, I've won 70% of my bids with this spread sheets, before that I use to eyeball my estimates and most of the times were overpriced and some very low,
Oh man thanks so much for the kind words. Feels great to hear when this stuff helps people out, happy to hear you are making a consistent healthy profits.
Hi Jonathan, I am not really sure what you are asking, this video is intended to explain how I get my exterior measurements, so not really explaining how to use one of the estimate sheets.
@@prosperitypaintingconsulta5362Sorry for not being clear. At 1:53:53 you’re talking about pricing options (homeowners providing paint, two coats 5 year warranty, etc.). I downloaded the file through the Painting Business Pro course and I couldn’t find that info, I might be missing something.
Okay I see, I didn't even remember that was in there. When I made this video I only used these sheet for my company. I made this video to train new sales reps, then after I started selling the sheets I would show this video to help explain to people how I actually go my measurements (not how the sheet works). The sheet in the video and the sheets I sell are different. Those pricing options were something unique my business did. If you wondering how I came up with those prices, you can by doing these things: If you want a no paint just put a paint a $0. for the cost and select that one when telling the sheet which paint you want to use. The way I figure out 2 coats or full coat of primes has changed since then and the instruction on that can be found in this video: th-cam.com/video/ABygL6LM7-k/w-d-xo.html lastly I just charged an extra 5% to clients that wanted a 5 year extended warranty.
Excellent video, good information. Well worth listening to all the way through. He is very knowledgable.
Much appreciated!

Great video! One question, Where can I find pricing options on the document I got through PBP? Seems a little different.
