SDC is really a super special place! Anyone who lives in Branson is very blessed to have such a crazy amazing theme park! Though the announcement did not include anything exciting for next year, it does give reason to bring hope for something coming later. We are not resort people, but I know some are. We shall see what SDC does in the coming years!
We feel the same way. And we are already excited about them making 2 million dollar improvements to the plaza area. That place is really special for our girls and we are excited to see it grow and be used for more seasons.

Silver Dollar City is notorious for adding Easter eggs into promotional pictures. If you look in the background, you see the Showboat in the background. The new property DOES have lakefront property. I could see them moving the Showboat landing on property, because they lease the land it currently launches from.
Good eye and observation. We didn’t catch that one. That makes complete and total sense though. Cant wait for more announcements in the coming years! Overall just truly excited about the resort. If it’s anything like the Dollywood resorts, which we would imagine they would be, they are going to be so beautiful!!!
We are so excited to witness the expansion of SDC over the next 10 years. It is crazy to think that our kids will be 17 and 15 when this expansion is completed. They are going to grow up with new things being developed at SDC and we are absolutely here for it.
If you know where the abandoned Indian Ridge Condos were located, the new resort is going in right there. It is one hilltop over from the old abandoned project.

Is the new property located behind the Best Western?

Wonder what they mean by "parks"? Will they build a new waterpark or build another park like Celebration City.
That is one thing we were thinking about too. We hope it means an additional park is coming at some point in the next 10 years.
I wish they would spend some money to improve the RV Campground. It's a dump.
We can’t speak on that one as we have never stayed there.
