We 100% agree with you! The owners and team at Silver Dollar City have so much heart for Branson and Missouri. They will, im sure, make it beautiful and conserve the land as best possible. "Sometimes" having companies that have heart and soul for their hometowns buy large pieces of land/property is a good thing if they preserve the beauty of it. Thank you for watching and for sharing your thoughts.
Thanks so much for watching! We are so excited. SDC is such a great park and this expansion is going to be so fantastic! We just visited for our first time last May and really enjoyed our time there so much. Who knew that a few months later they would announce this. 🤩 - Melissa
That is a big announcement! I'm surprised it took them this long to build a Resort. I have always wondered where you guys or other guests stay at when visiting there.
Yeah, sounds like they have big plans beyond the resort as well! We've stayed at hotels and an Airbnb's in the past. All nice places to stay. Thank you for watching!
it was an interesting 3 hurricanes, fortunately I made out far better than some of the areas around me. Milton finally got me to get some of the emergency gear that I had been planning to get for a while such as a gas chainsaw and a generator. You two also got me looking at Branson real estate, and I could easily sell out of Florida and live fairly comfortably, job market might be the interesting part though!
Hey there, yeah, those hurricanes really did a number to our area. We've also looked at some real estate in Branson...We'll see, haha! Thank you for watching! :) - Wes
The amount of guests & traffic will have adverse affects on all the things that made this area so welcoming and homey. The overfishing of our lakes will begin, it will tax all of our natural resources, & before ya know it will be too late to go back. For hundreds of years families & visitors have helped maintain a balance between nature & commerce. This marks the end. Sad
What is something that you would like to see Silver Dollar City bring with its new expansion announcement?
I'd love to see White Water moved in between the hotel and SDC. I'm also holding out hope for cinnamon bread by drone to!!!!
Cinnamon bread drone would be amazing! LOL! Thank you for watching :)
Thank goodness it's Silver Dollar City, they help keep our land here beautiful. Other companies would turn it into ugly concrete. Thanks for sharing.

They already had a campground but nowhere is one for the non-campers

Branson is already a massive tourist destination. don't think this will change a thing. last year alone saw almost 11 million people come to Branson.
