I swore off figure collecting back in March. I bought a car and my figure money is going towards that for the lengthy future. With every release announcement since then, I haven’t wavered because the figures fortunately weren’t anything I was looking for. There was some close calls like the war bird, but it wasn’t until this comic con release that I’m seriously regretting my decision. Thankfully some of these already dropped out because they were two packs but wholly moly that dragon man is SICK and that Crystal/lock jaw two pack I am gonna die without. So I’m reeeeeeaallly kicking myself today. Hopefully there will be some still available at a decent price when I get back into collecting.
Depending on how popular a figure/set is and if it's an exclusive, I can guarantee you that there WON'T be any available for a decent price in the future when you decide to get back into the game. Sometimes, you gotta pull the trigger on something right there and then if you really want it and have the means to get it because it might not be there later. That's something I've learned over the years of collecting. I've missed out on getting so many figures at a normal/decent price or just missed out on getting the figure entirely because I decided to hold off instead of shooting my shot when I had the chance.
I actually think the Punisher skull looks like smiley eyes, like a “Hey, hey guess what? YOU DYING TODAY AHAAHAAAHAAAAHAAA”

The mezco lock jaw might be the best for display, looks larger but also has the cool light up eyes

ROM the Space Knight is huge deal! Fun Fact: James Gunn wanted to use Rom in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and couldn't because Hasbro at the time was trying to tie Rom into Transformers. Marvel getting rights back to Rom and being able to use the Dire Wraiths and Space Knights fully again could be really cool.

That new punisher buck is actually the best buck I’ve seen from hasbro is a long time the proportions are great and he looks like an actual superhero wow, it should become the new standard buck they use tbh and a ball joint torso too wow, it looks like a Mafex to me tbh

I completely agree that Marvel intentionally changed the eyes on the Punisher logo to make it “less mean”.
I didnt see anyone else talk about this so i wanted to say about doctor strange's ghost dog, ill try not to spoil much but i love the little ghost dog. His name is bats and the first time i saw him was in i think the doctor strange run that started in 2015, i will try not to spoil to the best of my ability. Basically at one point doctor strange loses most of his magic and becomes a slightly magic veterinarian, during that time bats becomes one of his best friends, hes an old dog that stephen talks to throughout a few issues. At a point later on something really sad happens with bats and then later on old bats comes back as a ghost doggie and continues being one of stranges best buds for a while as far as ive read in the run. I absolutely love bats so much :)

I'm definitely excited for that Crystal and Lockjaw 2-Pack and Colossus. I've been needing them to complete my Inhuman display and my movie Deadpool and Deadpool 2 displays.

I want a Wong and would have happily bought him outside of a 2 pack, but I dont want another Strange. Ridiculous and always the same issue with these ...the Power Man Iron Fist one, The Skrull Queen/Super Skull, The SHIELD three pack... I will just wait and hope they go to discount sometime. That said, the Crystal/Lockjaw 2 pack makes sense, so does the Punisher/Bushwhacker. Really great reveals apart from Wong being 2 pack.
I may be in the minority here but I’d love for them to release a version of Ghost Rider Robbie. I feel like If they can drop Goblin Queen I think they do the same for GR.

Wong AND Bats in a 3-pack with a pretty cool new version of Dr. Strange who looks a bit darker and more actiony??

Wong and Bats were high on my wishlist. Bats especially.
When Strange lost the role of Sorcerer Supreme and ended up as a veterinarian, he inherited Bats.
Bats' original owner had died of a heart attack, and Bats had already been adopted 2 other times.
But now he was in Strange's care. Strange enchanted him with a spell that translated his barks to English.
Bats is Dr. Strange's old patient (now pet) basset hound who died from stress, having a heart attack defending Doctor Strange from Sorcerer Supreme Loki.
Loki just put up a forcefield to keep Bats back, and the stress of not being able to help Strange was too much for him.
Shortly after, Strange travelled to Yggdrasil, The World Tree, to empower himself.
As the only offering he had for the tree, he gave it Bats' body.
When Loki gave back the role of Sorcerer Supreme to Strange, he apologized for Bats, and tried to explain that he'd tried everything to remedy the situation, but before Loki could finish his apology and explanation Strange teleported him away.
Moments later Bats manifested as a ghost pup.
Anyhow, these three are going on my Midnight Sons/spooky shelf.
The brighter more static Strange will get moved to my Avengers shelf.

I understand making the Wong a two-pack for marketing purposes, Wong isn't really a marquee character, imo he's closer to a civilian than a hero, but I think they chose the wrong Dr Strange to pack him with. Instead of that possessed looking Strange they should have done a "first appearance"/young Doctor Strange with the blue cape, based on the art of "The Death of Doctor Strange."
For the teases, I'm not sure about the shoe but that spider wristband is TOTALLY the Spider-Man design from the Spider-Man Unlimited cartoon.
Damn...im 57 now but I will be buying the ROM to replace the original one that i had years ago

I'm always SO obsessed with hoping that Hasbro get the Spider-Man Unlimited suit colors right (I desperately want them to understand that there's ZERO black on that costume, and the "black" comes from the deep dark reflective shadows of the whole thing being pure metallic blue and metallic red...) that I barely pay attention to his wrists. lol
So many good reveals! Kang, the sentinels, punisher, colossus, and maybe the strange 2 pack are my preorders. I hope the tease is spidey unlimited

OMG, that’s a really nice looking Crystal, and I kinda wish Lockjaw has articulated legs like the other Hasbro animal from the G.I. Joe, Dungeon and Dragon and other Marvel Legends line. But that Crystal…. OMG! 😍

Dave, love you brother but never understood the "no punisher" talk 😂. Taking a break made sense though (which they technically did because it's been like 4 years since the last one). Happy to see this figure, it's a shame that it's a two pack though. Otherwise I would have bought multiple.

I'm bummed about the articulation on Lockjaw because you know it's gonna be way overpriced for a such a limited figure.
I really wish Crystal had a Kirby style hair alternate head. Quicksilver is awesome for me since he's my favorite character.
I like Quicksilver which he can go great with the evil Brotherhood of Evil Mutants or the Avengers but for me I have try to get the Wolverine suited Hugh Jackman and that Punisher because I really need him to be displayed with his guns and those head sculpts look so mean and fierce.

I must say I am a bit annoyed because Of the various 2 packs,
For example I am excited for wong but I already have multiple dr strange figures,
It just bleeds my wallet due to the 2 packs being 50 dollars each even though I only want 1/2rds of the packs

I don't feel there are any other justified Marvel Haslabs available. Giant Man was the last one that made sense. Dragon Man is a good release, being that the original is going for insane price. The new Dragon Man will kill the value of the old one.
This was a lot of 'Meh' for me. Already got the Walmart Doctor Strange so I can pass on that 2-pack, happy with an older ML Punisher so pass on that as well, tracked down a Legacy movie Deadpool so I can pass on his revamped suit. Only the now-pinless standalone Quicksilver really caught my eye.
