There's one small detail you missed in part 1. When Deadpool was fighting tva agents after the flash back there was some blood splattered over the camera This shows how this movie could break 4th wall without saying or looking at camera. man i love this movie❤
My theory is that the Doctor Strange Variant didn't have a world to go back to since it was completely pruned. Either he already had it (Infinity Sling Ring) or made it afterwards, he couldn't travel back to his world.
I also think to believe that the doctor strange variant didn’t know of the multiverse. Same goes for probably the rest of the people (including the ancient one) in his universe. For all he knows, he assumed that because his timeline was pruned, that was it. No world to go back to; just trapped in a void world deprived of everything. Even IF he knew of the multiverse, where would he have gone? How would he have known to go to one specific universe? The multiverse is infinite and he likely didn’t know of any other universe to go to; at least Cassandra Nova knew to send Wade back to his universe cause it was still alive. All of the other universe strange likely knew were already dead, so what’s the point?
I still think it was Donny Blaze that took Strange's spot somehow and was pruned as a result. Perhaps he scammed his way during the blip. I understand that the cloak was there and the cloak was blipped with him, but n an infinite amount of realities, this would fit. The way she worded it made it seem like it was truly a buffoon she encountered, as no Strange variant was ever presented as she described. Of course it could just be her condescending arrogance. IDK. I just like the idea of it being Blaze because why not.
And I think that Cassandra Nova made the infinity stones- welded sling ring. Because she says she can leave the void whenever she wants but chose to stay or something. So I would assume she killed a doctor strange that's either trying to portal away but got killed or Cassandra saw the potential of the sling ring if it was modified
Such a weird paradoxical situation when, at the end of a masterpiece, the artist/creator asks 'Please click on the thumbs-up button', while I am all hyped to not only thumbs up the work but shout out and say 'Chapeau!'
LFG MAN YOU ARE GENUINELY ONE OF MY FAVOURITE TH-cam CHANNELS AND I TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT YOU. JUST REALISED THIS IS ALL UPPERCASE BUT IVE COME THIS FAR SO WHAT THE HELL. YOU'RE A LEGEND AND KEEP BRINING THE GREAT CONTENT MUCH LOVE ❤️ 😊
9:36 notice how Nicepool says he can “gently tap” the fourth wall instead of break it. This is because he’s nice and therefore doesn’t want to break something 😂
That 3rd act and specially the last hand holding scene with like a prayer playing just gets better each time i watch it. On paper it may sound cliche and non sensical as to how they came out alive but it was executed so perfectly and done with so much heart, gives me chills and gets me teary everytime. Couldn't be a more perfect song for that moment, just pure magic ✨.
A detail that I love is that next to the Leifields shoe store, is a small pharmacy. Why is important? Well when Deadpool says “that donut stall is practically a hospital” you can see that pharmacy is just a few feet away from it, meaning if Deadpool really wanted to save nicepool, he could’ve brought him there
Hey Canadian lad you missed when Deadpool and Wolverine jumped from the bus Deadpool’s Katana actually goes through Wolverine arm so you see in 0.x25 speed you might see it.
The Deadpool with wings and an arrow in the head could be a reference to Fortnite. Credit to my brother for thinking about this. The Deadpool & Wolverine skins made for the movie had an odd arrow in the head variant for Deadpool. Throughout the movie I don't recall Deadpool getting shot by an arrow. Now as my brother and I watched this video, the wings on back with an arrow in head Deadpool, could be a reference to the skin in Fortnite. Fortnite notably also has various wing back blings.
It was so worth the wait💯. The Canadian Lad you really delivered with this movie's breakdown❤️💛. BRAVO!!!👏... Much Love & Respect Man.... Greetings from PNG 🇵🇬
22:57 I think there's a better reason why Wolverine's suit shattered. He mentioned before that he wears the suit to remind myself of what he did. I think that bc of his sacrifice, he's finally able to start letting go and forgiving himself, so that's why his suit shattered
In the scene where Deadpool is taunting Wolverine through the glass door after locking him out, he makes a reference to Spock's death at the end of Star Trek 2. Spock died from radiation fixing the Enterprise's warp core...... which is powered by matter and antimatter.
The jury rigged sling ring might have been made by that Strange specifically to visit the Void, for any number of reasons. That could explain why he didn't use it to escape Cassandra. Oh, also, you missed that Deadpool shoves the highlander Deadpool onto his own sword the same way Francis shoved a piece of rebar into him. You did describe it happening in detail, but didn't pick up on this similarity. Also also, only Logan's upper clothes disappearing is most likely a reference to X-Men: The Last Stand, where the Phoenix disintegrates all of his clothes except for his pants. It seems the X-Men make their pants out of the same fabric as Bruce Banner.
at 13:20 Nicepool was trying to get to Dogpool instead of Wolverine because he knew he couldn’t regenerate! And then later we see that no one shoots at Dogpool when Wolverine holds her out. That’s such a cool little detail. 👀
just had a random thought since Deadpool kept regenerating, they assumed nicepool would too but since NICEPOOL managed to die, they probably thought it was the same with all the other deadpool variants except it wasn't lol
True. I think that deadpool knew nicepool wouldn't regenerate the moment he learned that nicepool never got cancer though. I think he just killed him for the dog.
9:30 In the Brazilian Portuguese dub of the movie, he says he can break the fourth wall too and just says "Drink water :)" and the whole theater erupted laughing
I loved the little detail of the first song being played when the Odyssey fight started was from The Greatest Showman that has the first line of, "Ladies and gentlemen this is the moment you've all been waiting for."
at 22:42 , aside from the x-bridge for the x-men, another detail was the floor, with the blue lines and white lights. it’s the inverted colors of deadpool’s logo !
This movie is amazing. I work at a movie theatre and I'll always sit a bit rewatching any parts of the film when I have the time to. Especially the Honda Odyssey fight. I've never seen such a rewatchable film
another theory to throw in why wolverines suit burst is wolverine is where the matter and anti matter would first collide. Wolverine grabs deadpool's hand before extending his claws so he would already have had the matter running through him from deadpool. Then when extending his claws to create the circuit his body is where they would collide first.
One thing I like is that you can tell that Cassandra couldn't get into Logan's mind as easily as everyone else. Every other character she is able to slide her hands in effortlessly, but with Logan she can only get one finger in. In the comics he's resistant to telepathy.
The scene where they grab hands gives me chills every time even as I watched this video with just the photos just remembering it still emotionally gets me
For me this is one of the best third acts in a movie based on comics in recent years, yes, it can be a bit cheesy and Cassandra lacked some development, but it is emotional, with an excellent action scene, the soundtrack is perfect, the effects are good, the fanservice is nice and intelligent, and it leaves you very satisfied Now I hear these versions of "Like a Prayer" every day because of how good they are
The environment they created in that ending scene with the song was simply just magical and so emotionally charged, gets me everytime. Don't know how some people thought it's a soul-less movie
@@apoorvsingh4459 its not a soul less movie but the third act kinda doesnt make sense, like the huge explosion at the end does nothing to Wolverine and Deadpool's clothes? or how in the fight with Deadpool Corps, Wolverine just spammed the attack button and Deadpool Corp was called this deadly group who kills anyone but were such pushovers at the end still a good movie
@@theamazingspooderman2697 i know and I said it too in one of my other comments but here talking about simply how good the execution of that final scene was with the song playing. It was magical, chills everytime. The genuine heart and emotions just makes you forget about the logic and helps with suspension of belief. It's not the first time heroes survive impossible situations using power of friendship
Yeah I’m still surprised I got so invested at the end! I had stopped watching MCU movies for a while and went into Deadpool and Wolverine expecting just a comedy. I’m very glad Ryan and the other writers care about these characters!
I think you're overthinking why wolverines suit fell apart and Deadpools did not. Theres of course the meta reason, fan service, but also Deadpool gets a new suit made by a tva tailer, who is also able to produce the adamatium katanas, while wolverines suit is his basic suit he brought from his universe. So i feel its safe to assume the tva tailer simply uses some really durable material for the suit.
He says this in the video. Self repairing makes more sense than just plain durable, as the suit is shot and stabbed and sliced over and over in the movie.
I think the reason it exploded is just the meta reason... 😂😂 If there's science behind it, why was it just his top that blew up, why not his pants? The meta reason is obvious why, but there's no scientific justification as to why the antimatter protected his dignity 😂😂
@@amicarter8476 I would say that because he has the adamantium skeleton, and assuming it would take the path of least resistance, it would only really flow through his arms and chest, not the legs. Only "scientific" reason I can think of
Wolverine holding Cowboy Deadpool while Deadpool Prime shoots him in the ass and the camera pans on the street sign named Maine St., a callback to Deadpool 1 where he also got shot in the ass and says "Right up Main Street"
all 3 videos are great! i with my gf have seen it 9 times and we are sad that cinema in our town took it out for good :( like you said, there is always something new to discover. every single time 😅 btw i also noticed one interesting fact. when cassandra got into logan's head, he said that x-men called after him and he walked away. he always does. and in the end when wade called after him, he stopped and turned to him. it melted my heart :) ♥️ this movie has so much to offer from action point of view, humorous situations, acting, dramatic moments, surprising cameos, storytelling, progress of characters through movie, nostalgia and that music during whole movie so spot on 10/10. i cant wait to see it again :) have a nice day and thank you for your movie breakdown once again
I have a neat detail not a lot of people are talking about. Obviously, they reused the Logan theme for the new Wolverine, but his action theme is actually the theme for X-24, the evil clone Logan. You can hear it when Logan stabs Cassandra and again briefly when he puts on his mask for the first time. I find it fitting that the Logan theme is used for the emotional moments, essentially showing Logan's good side, while the X-24 theme is used whenever he's violent, giving into the worst parts of himself
23:17 Let ME simplify it even more, deadpool has entered disney, he now had a disney suit that doesnt break. Logan is to stay in the fox universe and has a fox suit that breaks like in deadpool 1 & 2
22:41 the water area under the platform kinda looks like the standard deadpool icon, with the blue where the red should be, and the gray stone being the black, another little detail
I really enjoy your breakdowns it gives me more info and a different approach when ill watch this movie again like ill notice what i havent noticed before
18:24 Possibly a reference to Brokeback Mountain, or the occasional trope that "cowboys are gay". But I did laugh a bit too hard at the phrasing here: "Cowboy-Pool, who took a shot to the ass from Deadpool..." I reckon DP would find DP hot. If it's good enough for Sylvie and Loki... Merc with a Mouth indeed hehe I'll admit I was surprised that X-Men Origins: Wolverine's Deadpool didn't show up here. I know he was shot in the last movie, but If there's one thing a Deadpool can survive, its getting shot in the face.
I think Cassandra was the one who made the sling ring. She didn't really want to leave the void, but I think she might've thought that one day she might have to confront the TVA itself. So after killing Thanos, who maybe had the infinity stones, and killing doctor strange, she made the ring herself.
7:53 it is possible that Variant Doctor Strange was searching the void for the Reality and Time Stone. Sure, he probably had the Time Stone on him when he got pruned. Yet, he sensed the Reality Stone from a Variant from Thor: Dark World. Forgot his name, but all I can say by the time he got the Reality Stone and fused it with the sling ring, along with the Time Stone. Cassandra killed him before he got the chance to give her a good fight, hinting the line, "amateur magician" to how easily she took him down without much effort
7:55 if I was filling the plot hole I’d say Casandra got the sling ring from the pruned Dr. Strange or wizard! And then she took the stones from the pruned Thanos which whom’s throne chair she’s sitting in. Then she put them together. That would overall explain why the Strange she encountered didn’t just leave through a portal-he couldn’t. And I’ll add that the reason that Thanos got pruned because he collected the stones in the wrong order. Our Thanos collected the time stone second to last. The pruned Thanos seemed to have collected the time stone either 1st or second
I like that reason for the stones attached, but I still think its Donny Blaze that she got the sling ring from. Dude opened random portals, like where he sent Madisynn.

There's one small detail you missed in part 1. When Deadpool was fighting tva agents after the flash back there was some blood splattered over the camera
This shows how this movie could break 4th wall without saying or looking at camera.
man i love this movie❤
@@ghiggs8389 I agree, because she called him an amateur magician which is NOT Strange and I remembered the She Hulk episode with Donny Blaze
@@andresalise8000 With the Thanos throne... this would make a lot of sense too. She got the stones from him and modified the sling ring.
Such a weird paradoxical situation when, at the end of a masterpiece, the artist/creator asks 'Please click on the thumbs-up button', while I am all hyped to not only thumbs up the work but shout out and say 'Chapeau!'
"He has risen baby girl!"
"FACK!"
@@virtualtrucker26 When i don't know the world to see..
Thank you for your hard work with these videos, as well as that last bit in this video. Seriously, nice vocals.
Thank you so much mate :)
15:07 I think this sequence is a nod to 300's one of the most iconic battle scenes where they push the enemies off the cliff
9:36 notice how Nicepool says he can “gently tap” the fourth wall instead of break it. This is because he’s nice and therefore doesn’t want to break something 😂
4:17 If you look closely at Cassandra's jaw with the bl00d in this frame, it kinda looks like Thanos's jaw.. 👀
Especially because she’s on thanos’s chair
nice one
That 3rd act and specially the last hand holding scene with like a prayer playing just gets better each time i watch it. On paper it may sound cliche and non sensical as to how they came out alive but it was executed so perfectly and done with so much heart, gives me chills and gets me teary everytime. Couldn't be a more perfect song for that moment, just pure magic ✨.
A detail that I love is that next to the Leifields shoe store, is a small pharmacy.
Why is important? Well when Deadpool says “that donut stall is practically a hospital” you can see that pharmacy is just a few feet away from it, meaning if Deadpool really wanted to save nicepool, he could’ve brought him there
When Nicepool gently tapped the 4th wall, personally, I think the line should have been "I leaked the test footage" or outed who did.
That's a lovely theory! Thanks, it's my headcanon now :D
In the scene where Deadpool is taunting Wolverine through the glass door after locking him out, he makes a reference to Spock's death at the end of Star Trek 2. Spock died from radiation fixing the Enterprise's warp core...... which is powered by matter and antimatter.
26:32 like I look at Elizabeth Olsen * but in a respectful manner
She knew what she was doing wearing that outfit. 😂
Of course you release this as I am seconds away from setting my phone on that perfect spot so I can watch your video while Im having lunch
I thought the same of strange trying to get IN rather that out. As for the clothes - that's hilarious.
at 13:20 Nicepool was trying to get to Dogpool instead of Wolverine because he knew he couldn’t regenerate! And then later we see that no one shoots at Dogpool when Wolverine holds her out. That’s such a cool little detail. 👀
Maybe.
Sure sure
18:26 I guess cowboy-pool did regenerate but the bullet got stuck in his hole 😂
Just found your channel today and watched all three parts of your breakdown. Very thorough and enjoyable experience!
just had a random thought
since Deadpool kept regenerating, they assumed nicepool would too
but since NICEPOOL managed to die, they probably thought it was the same with all the other deadpool variants
except it wasn't lol
True. I think that deadpool knew nicepool wouldn't regenerate the moment he learned that nicepool never got cancer though. I think he just killed him for the dog.
And the gun too
@@yahwedalumiracleonwuneme no not just the gun. the 2 gold plated 50 caliber desert eagle pistoleros
yeah could be
@@DarthZ01 he didn't die for nothing
9:30 In the Brazilian Portuguese dub of the movie, he says he can break the fourth wall too and just says "Drink water :)" and the whole theater erupted laughing
In Germany, he says "The woman is her on"
It is an old feminist quote, but it now gets used more in a joking manner.
I always think of Singing in the Rain when Deadpool swings on the light pole. I think the platform at the end looks more like an hourglass.
Your break downs are really one of the best out there imo. Keep up the great work.
I loved the little detail of the first song being played when the Odyssey fight started was from The Greatest Showman that has the first line of, "Ladies and gentlemen this is the moment you've all been waiting for."
Nicely noticed
at 22:42 , aside from the x-bridge for the x-men, another detail was the floor, with the blue lines and white lights. it’s the inverted colors of deadpool’s logo !
This movie is amazing. I work at a movie theatre and I'll always sit a bit rewatching any parts of the film when I have the time to. Especially the Honda Odyssey fight. I've never seen such a rewatchable film
But why was Thor crying?
Hey C lad, this needs an answer 😁
Question Of The Century 😂😂
I think it's connected to secret war
There’s a film theory on that
Deadpool is NoobMaster69.
another theory to throw in why wolverines suit burst is wolverine is where the matter and anti matter would first collide. Wolverine grabs deadpool's hand before extending his claws so he would already have had the matter running through him from deadpool. Then when extending his claws to create the circuit his body is where they would collide first.
I've been waiting for this video, glad it's finally here. Will have to watch it later on, I always watch your breakdowns with my brother.
26:35 can you blame him tho?
This man is literally watch movies like a New Game+
One thing I like is that you can tell that Cassandra couldn't get into Logan's mind as easily as everyone else. Every other character she is able to slide her hands in effortlessly, but with Logan she can only get one finger in. In the comics he's resistant to telepathy.
The scene where they grab hands gives me chills every time even as I watched this video with just the photos just remembering it still emotionally gets me
For me this is one of the best third acts in a movie based on comics in recent years, yes, it can be a bit cheesy and Cassandra lacked some development, but it is emotional, with an excellent action scene, the soundtrack is perfect, the effects are good, the fanservice is nice and intelligent, and it leaves you very satisfied
Now I hear these versions of "Like a Prayer" every day because of how good they are
The environment they created in that ending scene with the song was simply just magical and so emotionally charged, gets me everytime. Don't know how some people thought it's a soul-less movie
@@apoorvsingh4459 its not a soul less movie but the third act kinda doesnt make sense, like the huge explosion at the end does nothing to Wolverine and Deadpool's clothes? or how in the fight with Deadpool Corps, Wolverine just spammed the attack button and Deadpool Corp was called this deadly group who kills anyone but were such pushovers at the end
still a good movie
@@theamazingspooderman2697 i know and I said it too in one of my other comments but here talking about simply how good the execution of that final scene was with the song playing. It was magical, chills everytime.
The genuine heart and emotions just makes you forget about the logic and helps with suspension of belief.
It's not the first time heroes survive impossible situations using power of friendship
Yeah I’m still surprised I got so invested at the end! I had stopped watching MCU movies for a while and went into Deadpool and Wolverine expecting just a comedy. I’m very glad Ryan and the other writers care about these characters!
@@carmelcity9527 exactly it all worked because its very clear they care about and love these characters
Self repairing makes more sense than just plain durable, as the suit is shot and stabbed and sliced over and over in the movie.
didn't he also said that?
I think the reason it exploded is just the meta reason... 😂😂
If there's science behind it, why was it just his top that blew up, why not his pants?
The meta reason is obvious why, but there's no scientific justification as to why the antimatter protected his dignity 😂😂
@@amicarter8476 I would say that because he has the adamantium skeleton, and assuming it would take the path of least resistance, it would only really flow through his arms and chest, not the legs. Only "scientific" reason I can think of
@@amicarter8476It's called "science-fiction" for a reason 😂
Thank you CL for taking the time and effort to bring to our attention all the time and effort the crew puts into these movies!
just amazing you got every details correctly thank you canadian lad we love you 💙
6:07 probably my favorite line
Appreciate your effort man❤️
you are the best in this category 🔥
I have a neat detail not a lot of people are talking about. Obviously, they reused the Logan theme for the new Wolverine, but his action theme is actually the theme for X-24, the evil clone Logan. You can hear it when Logan stabs Cassandra and again briefly when he puts on his mask for the first time. I find it fitting that the Logan theme is used for the emotional moments, essentially showing Logan's good side, while the X-24 theme is used whenever he's violent, giving into the worst parts of himself
23:17
Let ME simplify it even more, deadpool has entered disney, he now had a disney suit that doesnt break. Logan is to stay in the fox universe and has a fox suit that breaks like in deadpool 1 & 2
Pegging isn't new for Deadpool, but it is new for Disney
Let ME simplify once more: huge ackman is hot
Wolverine is going to be in Disney though, also Disney had many suits with damage lol
The final one
Kinda sad it ended but thank for these amazing breakdown & easter egg Lads fr🔥🔥🙏
22:41 the water area under the platform kinda looks like the standard deadpool icon, with the blue where the red should be, and the gray stone being the black, another little detail
waiting for part 3 for 3 weeks? worth it. Amazing. Such A Cinema
I really enjoy your breakdowns it gives me more info and a different approach when ill watch this movie again like ill notice what i havent noticed before
Are we not going to talk about 22:03
Canadian lad: I'm not going narrate a movie and focus on details
*Proceeds narrating the movie for 90% of the video*
22:08 fucking hilarious
Bro went into full science-mode there for a second and it made sense. Thank you for the breakdown series.
You're the only guy who does justice to the term breakdown ❤
18:24 Possibly a reference to Brokeback Mountain, or the occasional trope that "cowboys are gay". But I did laugh a bit too hard at the phrasing here: "Cowboy-Pool, who took a shot to the ass from Deadpool..." I reckon DP would find DP hot. If it's good enough for Sylvie and Loki... Merc with a Mouth indeed hehe
I'll admit I was surprised that X-Men Origins: Wolverine's Deadpool didn't show up here. I know he was shot in the last movie, but If there's one thing a Deadpool can survive, its getting shot in the face.
I wish that the severed head from the end of xmen Origins had showed up as Headpool
@@IronBenj5 hell yeah, with torn stitches and stuff
“Not everyone gets a speech” I love that wolverine got to break the fourth wall and everyone’s glazing over it
O dang didnt even realize they gave him one! Love that, thanks for pointing it out!
I think Cassandra was the one who made the sling ring. She didn't really want to leave the void, but I think she might've thought that one day she might have to confront the TVA itself. So after killing Thanos, who maybe had the infinity stones, and killing doctor strange, she made the ring herself.
We love you Canadian lad! The effort you put into your videos is unmatched ❤️💛
Thank you! You did an excellent job on these videos 💙
That's not a bad explanation. Better than some of the other stupid straw grabbing theories I've seen on here
@@wadewilson8011 thanks
25:05 logen mask and pent is more durable 😂😂😂😂
Mr Canadian Lad, do Marvel know you exist right? This is just another fantastic video showing us the wonderful amount of detail these movies have. Thank you so much!
I learned more science from this video than my entire high-school experience
