Showing off amazing outfits, nerdy and affectionate banter in the car, giving in to cravings, kitty kisses and articulate kids who don't want to hurt their parents' feelings.
I’m pretty sure we all learned 3 things from this video: First of all, how self-rising flour works, second of all, how to make a mug-cake, and third of all, that Matthew should include Oliver in more of his videos.
Yes, definitely, absolutely! The young Patrick has already asked us to subscribe to Food Theory once. I personally wouldn't complain if he drops a "that's just a Theory, a [insert channel here] Theory" at some point. XD - P-man_XD
Watching a two year old pull food out of his mouth without hardly tasting it, and knowing that s#!+ is going in the trash, was the best use of a GTA Wasted insert I've ever seen.😂
I never even asked my self if Matt had a child, but I’m thankful to know he does. That child will become the ultimate mix of all big-brained infamous and famous people through out history, from Newton to Einstein.
When making a box cake mix, you can substitute applesauce for the oil. Oil makes a cake heavier and it dries out faster. Applesauce will make it lighter and fluffier and it will stay fresher longer and enhances the flavor, in my opinion. It's also a healthier alternative, not that cake is a "healthy" food. LOL I'm wondering if you would be able to substitute something else for the flour in those "mug cakes". I'm sure baking them in an oven instead of a microwave would probably improve the quality and taste. The frozen coke didn't work because it isn't ice cream, it's like a Slurpee or Icee, basically just flavored shaved ice.

The part where MatPat just puts his face down on the table laughing after placing CokeCake™ into the bowl got me. If you thought it would be fairly decent, that jiggle (which also gives it away as a jello consistency) basically seals the deal. It's gonna taste horrible.

The Cookout milkshake one was also probably helped a lot by having pudding! I put some pudding mix in my ice cream and self-rising flour desserts (I view them more as sweet breads than cakes 😅)
Hey Food Theory, just want to let you know that there's *another* episode you can do with self-rising flour! In different ratios, self-rising flour and greek yogurt makes a healthy (and honestly, pretty tasty) dough that can be turned into donut holes, pretzels, cinnamon buns, pizza, and so forth. It turns a lot of time-taking, yeast-containing recipes into a quick version! It's a pretty interesting base that is both super easy and delicious, so it would be an interesting thing to check out. I always use dairy-free yogurt, and that works just as well as the greek yogurt :)

This will probably be my favorite Food Theory for years to come, because it has everything I like to see the Theorist Family doing. Showing off amazing outfits, nerdy and affectionate banter in the car, giving in to cravings, kitty kisses and articulate kids who don't want to hurt their parents' feelings.
Ollie is the, unequivocal, indisputable, unbiased, authority on this channel.
Feels like Ollie wasn't even born a month ago but hes already a polite chap.

I’m pretty sure we all learned 3 things from this video: First of all, how self-rising flour works, second of all, how to make a mug-cake, and third of all, that Matthew should include Oliver in more of his videos.
eh, mug cakes have been around on the internet since forever, you can find recipes for it anywhere, i've been making em since 2013.
I agree with all of that but mostly that last one. Oliver is adorable.
I can be wrong! But I think they’ve said before they don’t want him to be in many videos just for privacy? Why he hasn’t been on live stream, I get it
Yes, definitely, absolutely! The young Patrick has already asked us to subscribe to Food Theory once. I personally wouldn't complain if he drops a "that's just a Theory, a [insert channel here] Theory" at some point. XD

The way he smiled while taking the price of cake out of his mouth and just casually gave it back literally made me wheeze 11:05

The face Mat makes after the coke comes out of the microwave had me laughing because we all knew it was going to be bad. His face just made it all the better.

The part where MatPat just puts his face down on the table laughing after placing CokeCake™ into the bowl got me. If you thought it would be fairly decent, that jiggle (which also gives it away as a jello consistency) basically seals the deal. It's gonna taste horrible.
Let me just say: your pantry is beautiful. Looks very organized. A blessing to the world.
this video has to be the most fun one because of ollie's cameo and matpat's extra goofiness

What do you mean
I'm gonna have to try this, it sounds super interesting
@@diegoorellana3117 i gotta too, but im too lazy to do it, but it will always be on my mind

How can you be so lazy to decide to slap together self rising flour and greek yogurt to create dough? Seriously How can you be THAT lazy?
@@mitjakovac278 Dont be so quick to judge, makes you look like a douche. Different people have different orders of priority. Laziness operates on a spectrum, its not some all encompassing disease. One thing im really lazy with, and slow to make progress at, you might really love doing and turn it into quick work. Then again someone so quick to judge a stranger probably has too thick a skull to make any sense of what Im saying.

If you want a REALLY easy cake mix idea, use an old Weight Watchers trick: combine one boxed cake mix with a 12 oz can of soda. Mix and bake according to the package directions. A fan favorite was Sprite, but I heard some others got good results with Mt Dew or orange soda.
