I can empathise with the feeling of not being able to sit down for a week after a long bike ride! I hope you've both recovered. Thanks for taking us along with you. I love the commentaries that go with your videos!
No way my behind would survive a 42 mile bike ride😂. But the ride sure did have some beautiful things to see! Thanks again for taking us along on your journey!😊
What a lovely bike ride.I was told when travelling by Scot rail that whilst I had a seat booked because we don't pay extra for it we cannot ask the person in it to move!
I follow you on your adventures from Minnesota, USA, and middle America has little if any mass transit options, but the ones we have are very expensive, and not extensive. Enjoy your Scotrail. When we travel we enjoy taking mass transit because we feel that we are green travelers. Compliments to you on your drone videos, you do a great job. Scots frequently remark on your red squirrels. Oh, how I wish we could send all of our little red squirrels. Red squirrels in American are known for their damaging habits, and bad attitude (confrontive).
We have a similar attitude to Grey squirrels, they’re invasive and quickly took over from “our” native reds. I suppose any cute wee thing becomes a problem when there are too many of them.
Very brave to set out on a 42 mile trip, oh those sore backsides!! It was a lovely one to watch and did have interesting stuff to stop and explore, really enjoyed it
I’m sulking because you didn’t stop to see the dragons🧌…. The other carvings were very nice. It really was beautiful scenery and I appreciate the effort you both went through. Bye for now from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
I used to live and work up in Nairn and hated it back then, I don’t imagine it’s got any better. Strange seeing it so quiet. Nice to be able to stop and look at things though, it’s a cracking bike ride.
Wow what a trip! Looks like De Niro had a good time with friends too. I ride long distance on our old converted rail lines here but I have never done an adventure like that, or would I have had as nice of scenery. Well done.
That looked like a great day 😁 I’ve only done about 12 miles on my e-bike 😂 but it is very hilly where I live in North Yorkshire 😁 well done to you both 😁
Wow. You two did an amazing job on your cycling adventure. We've been to Aviemore and Inverness but were lazy and took a coach in between. It's nice to catch Aviemore on a quiet day. Have you taken the Strathspey Steam Train? We definitely would recommend. No need for the apology to Canadian (and American) travellers. I can't speak for Americans or for all Canadians but we live in Canada and hardly ever take public transit because it's not that great, especially the train system. We live an hour's drive from Toronto and to get to the city itself, rail options are extremely limited. Not particularly budget friendly either. And if you miss your train, well, you may have to wait many hours for the next. Our last 4 trips to the UK, N Ireland and Ireland, we didn't bother renting a car; train, bus, coach, ferry, plane served us well. We find your transit really great! Lots of options, price is good, and if you miss your train, there is another usually within minutes. :) The grass is always greener, right? -- Sandi & Greg H.
@@scotlandonashoestring keep your fingers crossed for us! We'll be using ScotRail in September...especially important is the Edinburgh-to-Aberdeen journey to catch the ferry to Shetland. :)
trains are great (nope) my self and my son stood with our bikes from darling to dunbar.. we booked the bikes but the train already had the boxes full... no great
Well done to both, I'm very impressed that you even had the breath to give us a commentary, thank you. Love your journeys.
That was the first time we've tried the wee camera on the handlebars. There was LOTS that wasn't useable :)

Thank you !! We survived and we're planning the next wee bike adventure.

Thanks for coming along. The scenery does make up for the discomfort.
Well done 👏👏. Thanks for taking us along on your ride - it was most enjoyable! 🚲🚲
Our pleasure!

Yeah, it wasn’t worth the hassle as we weren’t going far but wouldn’t fancy standing all the way to Glasgow.
Wow-what a trip! Kudos to you & Becks for making such a long bike trip! The scenery was beautiful, and I enjoyed Ian's travelog.
Thanks for the nice feedback.

The dragons were brilliant, but by that point we were flagging.
Now our temperatures have dropped and we’re getting the rain we needed.
It’s been a cool June.
Very pretty! Really long bike ride. Love the drone pics. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for the lovely feedback. We’re slowly getting used to the possibilities with the drone :)
I’m so so glad you did not take the A9. It’s miserable. And soooo dangerous. Beautiful ride through some beautiful countryside

What a lovely journey. The chainsaw Gruffalo was fabulous.
Hope you didn't feel too saddlesore for too long!
He was amazing!! We suffered for a couple of days after that wee jaunt.
I love these vlogs. Always make my day to see one and I've gradually been catching up with the old ones. Keep them coming and great work.
Thanks!! we've got lots of plans.
That was brilliant. What a great day!
Thank you!! We had a blast and it was an interesting thing to try and film. Happy with how it all came out.

He seems to have a great time, we call that end of the kennel block the party room :)
You guys must be super fit . All the running and cycling you do 👌👏. Great video as always take care and stay safe ❤
We don’t go very fast but we try.
Wow. You two must really hate your backsides 😂. Glad you did it though as it was very enjoyable for us 👍🏻
Glag people enjoyed watching us suffer :) We had a brilliant day.
Love the banter
Serious commentry!!!
Love this one. Now I want to get a bike and come to Scotland!
Go for it !!
You two have lovely videos and a good sense of humor😁
Example: tin tube of misery 😁
Thank you. I thought that was appropriate. Good job we were only going one stop.
Very nice ride…..although hard on your butts, lovely on the eyes! Well done.
Thank you. It was well worth the pain.
Well done you two! Well done!
Thank you
Greetings from a sunny Canada. Not real warm today (about 19C). But not bad. So enjoy watching your journey.
19C sounds good to us! Thanks for the feedback.
In my part of Canada we have smoke alerts. The air is not good with the fires up north in Ontario and Quebec.
@@deedorothypapineau6920 Oh, that's not good. We're getting a lot more wild fires in Scotland too, really need some rain.
Wow! I would need an e bike for that trip. 🚲
Yeah, we’re looking at them in a new light.
Wow well done guys
Thanks !!
Epic guys well done 🚲
Thank You
Cool carvings
They’re amazing, we love stuff like that.

To be fair we were slightly jealous of people on e-bikes :)
@@scotlandonashoestring 😂😂 mine only works when I’m peddling 😂
A wonderful video! Very nice drone work! Now go bide a wee or whatever you actually say in Scotland.
We're slowly exploring what the drone can do, it certainly makes things look a bit more interesting.

We've not been on the train yet, but it's definitely on the list. Can't be any worse than ScotRail :)

We were moving for 4 and a bit hours, but with lots and lots of stops it was closer to 7 hours :)

Love your videos. However I have some constructive criticism. Say less, slow down and take your time. And you spelled Culloden wrong!
Hiya. Thanks for the feedback. And Oops, I thought I’d fixed that.. used to live there !! :)
great show, i really look forward to seeing your video, makes me homesick, Greetings from Perth West Australia , 🦘🦘🌏🌞
Hope you enjoyed it!
