In today’s real time painting session featuring iPad ASMR, I do some studies of pictures of beautiful people I got from Pinterest. I also talk a bit about my process when doing these studies, how I pick references, etc.

oh yeah i feel you, your reference can definitely make or break a drawing for sure. but when im just doing warm ups or doodling, i’ll pick the first one i see so that i dont go insane

hi there! I’m using a 12.9 inch ipad pro (2nd gen), at first i was going to get the ipad air as it was cheaper, but decided to get the ipad pro instead so that i could have a bigger canvas. in the end, i think it really depends on your budget, after all its not your tools that make your art good or not-its always up to you, the artist :))
