Ratchet & Clank is one of my favorite game series. I'm surprised of how many trivia i didn't know, especially the adult-themed puns on the working titles.

Nier and nier automata were such crazy unique games. The ending where you can delete your save data was so emotional and really gave closure to the game. And now I know it's all thanks to a dodgy cartridge!

These long form DYKG videos are genuinely so nice. They're interesting to watch the full thing but they're also nice for background noise while working on something or while sleeping or hell while I'm having an issue with anxiety since it can often help to hear voices as it doesn't feel like I'm alone.

i immediately pull a thousand yard stare whenever lbp is mentioned. Truly the pinnacle of my childhood, i still have so many online levels engraved into my head, i remember a level where you could play as a family and for some reason you could also play as some small blue cookie monster looking thing lol, then there was that one creator who made several plane crash survivals like survive a plane crash in the jungle, man.. i miss lbp so much i start yapping

Great video, I'm just sad that we didn't get more facts about the PS3 exclusive Ratchet & Clank games. I guess it still counts since there's the R&C Trilogy/Collection but it still would've been cool to present more facts about the Future games themselves
Oh, I loved Little Big Planet as a kid. I could only play it at a friend's house since my family didn't have Playstation, but still one of my faves.
I wished they had been able to release the extra assets in an extras section in later releases or something. All of them sound like cool puzzle mechanics or features.

Great video! You guys always manage to dig out facts that I’ve never heard before, even though the PS3’s been my only gaming device since I was a kid. I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of it though, I have so many great memories from timeless games like the Arkham series and MGSV

It's crazy how great so many PS3 titles still look today. I've always thought MGS4 is especially impressive for coming out in 2008!
It was a really unique era, mgs4 looks good still but i would love if konami remastered it with a resolution touch up but all and all there's just so many games from that era that were so much fun and should be able to be downloaded on ps4/ps5 at the least.
I always wondered why Sega did Bayonetta PS3 dirty to Sony. Then I remembered Sega getting absolutely destroyed by Sony in the late 90s.

I love playing Sonic Generations on the PS3. But then the PC version had like instant load times, so I switched there.
Still crazy to think that MGS V released on PS3, honestly makes it the best console if you want to experience the whole series, its got 1-5, the MSX games, as well as Peace Walker.
So nostalgic for the ps3 era of gaming, it’s a shame a lot of these games are locked on the ps3, we need ports of these to modern consoles.
The dev that added that Batman Arkham Asylum secret must have been proud that it wasn't found right away.

LBP was honestly such a great game series. I loved it as a kid and the logic aspect in LBP2 creative got me interested in Computer Science later on. Hope there'll be another lbp game sometime.

I remember playing Dark Souls back on the PS3. I replayed the game recently and it only helped to remind me of how much I love that game.

DYKG is probably what really got me into gaming. My family was lower middle class and it's only me and my mom now. If it weren't for these videos when I was younger, I don't know if I would've been asking for games for Christmas every year since like, 2012. These videos were basically my go-to after school and I loved hearing about games I couldn't but thought I could maybe one day play.
I genuinely don't think I'd be as passionate or as creative as I am now without gaming, and I fully credit DYKG for getting me to realize that my hobby as a kid was way more special than I realized.
These fall asleep to videos definitely come in clutch when I have a hard time sleeping some nights. Keep up the great work DYKG!

PC Dark Souls player 1-3+ BloodBorne Sadly HAVEN'T play Sekiro:SDT or Elden ring I need to get on to Elden ring I bought it 1 day before it released but was unable to play it due to trying to use my garbage tier computer that is now upgr a ded but I'm too busy playing Diablo 4, Yes I Know Blizzard = Bad but hey I grew up with Diablo, I just can't let it go.... 🤷🏽♂️
The fact that the Chad named Miyazaki actually hid The Most famous/infamous emote in Dark Souls is a testament to just how much of an Absolute Giga Chad he is!!!! Man I wish thati had a ps3 but nooo my mom had to get me a Nintendo wii when she was managing the local Movie Gallery & Hollywood Video I had free rentals and I could of played the PS3's Absolutely AMAZING Library of games!!!!! I honestly don't regret getting a Wii before transitioning into PC gaming (thanks World of Warcraft) thankfully just got most of a new PC together after 11 years of having a CPU bottleneck i had an intel i5-4440 and a GTX 1070 and ohhh man that wasnt a fun combo, i upgraded my CPU to a 13700KF, an adlsus Z690 mobo and 32 GB of Corsair Vengeance RGB and still rocking the GTX 1070, I may not be able to run triple-A titles at max settings but everything runs 1000 times better than it did with that i5!!! To be fair though I had some great memories get made on that thing!!!!! I would purchase a PS3 and the games I want to play, But I don't feel like taking out a mortgage on the house just quite yet, So sadly it appears I may be sailing the 7 seas!!!! But atleast I don't pirate modern games, I've got Zero reason to do so? I had recently bought a copy of pokemon emerald to play through and my diehard nintendo friend ended up getting mad at me for not just pirating+Emulating it -.- so there's just no making everyone happy I guess? I'll save my peace of PS3 History until I can enjoy the physical media I guess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you know? I never had a PS3!? I was a PS2 FANBOY!!! but when 3 was announced I felt Sony was making some really bad PR and it jaded my opinion. I did play a few minutes on my brother's console for a few title but nothing that any game deserved. At the time I started running xbox consoles and I feel I really missed out in that time.
I grew up with Nintendo games mostly, But PS1 games have such a special and nostalgic feeling for specific things like the pixellated 3D effects, gradient menus, and the amazing "PS1"-y sfx a lotta games had if u know what im talking about. Forbidden Memories and FFT will forever be goated
I think the coolest thing is really just, you could boot up your PS1 games. Like nowadays nostalgia driven retro gaming is the biggest it's ever been, and like save for PC emulation the only way to play some games is OG hardware. It's nice that at the time, especially at release, PS1 and PS2 games were supported. Also, like, We had all of god of war in one place, which was tight, lol
If you take a pic and see how the ic terminates the usbc and cross reference with the pd specs it'll be quickly apparent. Sounds like more work than it is. The fnb48 is a great cheap usb meter that is good to have on hand. Don't buy the pricier 58. It ads a horrible Bluetooth monitoring app. Poor Chinese engineers, they can't code to save their life. Otherwise they're great. I think the nuance of languages between English and their's (plurals and tenses being almost non-existing) makes a big difference when problem solving computer engineering problems from a first principals approach. I don't mean that in any way negative regarding cultural differences.

Regardless, I was always impressed at how good MGSV ran on last gen systems, my first exposure to it was Ground Zeroes on PS3. Despite the frame rate, it still looked shockingly good with a presentation seemingly beyond what the system should've been capable of.
I really liked the PS3 & especially Ratchet/Clank A crack in time, Dragons Crown & such.. The ps3 Era was truly Golden imo. Such an excellent video from start to finish!! 👏👏
Man, I miss LittleBigPlanet. One of my favorite games of all time. I'm so sad that they shut the servers down and delisted most of the licensed DLC. I had so many costumes.
I tried out 'Sackboy: A Big Adventure' last night, and it's just not the same. Not a fan.
I'm glad Rocksteady derived from the source material with Arkham Asylum honestly. The graphic novel is amazing but too bleak for the kind of tone they would have had to put to match their exploration/combat flow. Paul Dini's lighter tone fits perfectly to their universe
Great video. Being a pc expert and making small quality of life changes on a board level will make you feel dumb really quick. Like I said get a decent ul lister multimeter and soldering station, practice kits (literally dirt cheap) and spend 20 mins a day learning thr basics and by 6 months you'll be owning that stuff.
I'll never understand how Bayonetta made it into Smash Bros. and Waluigi or any other KoF rep didn't. But this is about PS3, not the thumbnail so uhhbhh. Did you know? Sly Cooper is a Sony based franchise they won't bring back and it makes many sad.
The PS3 was the first console I bought with my own money and gave me a real sense of ownership. I spent countless hours playing Skyrim, MW2, and various PS2 games. It’ll forever have a special place in time for me.
