😊 oh Julia, thank you so much for letting us get to follow along with your adventure!!!! Gonna miss y'all now. Well, take care and thank you!! I pray you heal soon!!🎉❤😅
I had to watch the last one to find out if you made it to the end and you caught your flight! Well, sounds like you took the sensible option given the state of your feet and the trail magic was great payback. Loved the book of pictures/memories you made, that was real cool and brilliant photo at the end, cheers Alan
I took an extra week of trail angeling back to San Diego and it was a good way to decompress and prepare myself for coming home. Thanks for following along.
Will miss your trail videos and your sunny disposition. Glad you got to meet my other faves the Codgers! Heal up and hope to see more trail miles in the future!!
I didn’t even notice that I say that until someone pointed it out. 😂 I do say peeps a lot and someone suggested that as a trail name! (But I’d already accepted Jukebox)
Jukebox!! It was so great to meet you at Walmart. What a great trail family, and you are so kind and giving. I hope your injuries are mending quickly so you can enjoy more adventures. All the best! ~ Condor 🌻
The pleasure was all mine. I’ve loved the last part of the journey, even though it took me a few days to accept the circumstances. Thanks for following along
Hi Julia Jukebox! What an amazing adventure! I found your channel completely by chance when looking at reviews for the flextail pump and fell in love with your videos - stayed up to nearly 2am finishing this PCT series. To top it all off I grew up in Milton Keynes, so was so shocked to discover how nearby you're based! Wish you all the best and looking forward to all your future adventures on the channel :)
Sad to see you going off trail. I've enjoyed following your VLOG. Great job on the Trail Magic! Hope for a speedy revovery. The trail will always be there!!
I have been following along your amazing hike. You have been an inspiration especially what you have achieved. You make it real exciting and so honest thank you it's been great well done 👍
I followed your West Highland Way series prior to our leisurely inn-to-inn hike last year. So enjoyed seeing your joy and honest presentations. All the best on your next adventure.
Hi Julia, Keep vlogging! Loved following your PCT adventure so far and look forward to you continuing to let us know how you are doing!!! Great idea to trail magic on the way to San Diego..🥰
Ho`omaika`i!!! (congratulations) from Hawaii. What an amazing accomplishment of so many miles :) I enjoyed your videos and following along on your hike. Take care and safe travels home.
I think that the trails close to towns in the UK, with exception to perhaps a few in Scotland. It’s such a lovely thing to do though. Perhaps we should start trail magic in the UK!
You did amazing pet! It sucks being off trail😢 But hey there's always next time! Enjoy your trails in the four wheeled way and have loads of giggles with the trail angeling 🎉 Post all your adventures on the way back to UK.😊
This has been a fun adventure, thanks for sharing it with us! (And now that you’ve met the Codgers, the adventure is complete!) Have a great trip home and enjoy your family. All the best Julia! ❤
Super proud of you ! What an adventure, so enjoyed following along and will miss your videos. Have a good trip home and put your feet up to consider all you have done ❤
Sorry to hear about your injury. You were just lovely, one of my favorites this year for sure! I hope you come back to the states and give it another go! Hugs 🤗
Wow I clicked on this right after you posted! I’ve loved following your journey. Good for you being a trail angel as you travel to SD. I’ll read the rest on FindPenguins. Congratulations- great job! Good look with your feet 💗
@@TheAdventureGeek what a fantastic way to end your adventure- being a trail angel. What a great way to turn around what could’ve been a less happy ending (are those the right words?) into a very special one. I started following your Hadrian’s Wall videos, because we’re doing that beginning June 24, and then I just couldn’t stop watch your Camino’s, etc. What a delightful human you are. Thanks for the work your doing for Shout and everything else. I’ll continue to follow 💗
Hi Julia what an amazing end to your walk. Sad that you couldn’t complete it with your trail family but so rewarding to help them all out. Thanks for sharing your adventures. Can I ask how you got printed photos while on trail for your trail diary?
Thanks for following along. The printer is a Polaroid Zip and I use TheuNotes book (waterproof and tear proof). I do it for all my trips as they are such good memories of the people.
Yes I am! I have a walk-in guide business back home so need to be sensible. I was only planning a section hike from Campo to KM, so I was 50 miles short of my goal 😞
Thank you for sharing your amazing adventure. I hope it's not too much of a blow to have to stop - I know that feeling! What a wonderful thing to do to pay it forward - it made you, all those hikers and your audience happy, everyone wins. Do you think you'll ever pick up from Kennedy Meadows? Either way I will be watching and enjoying whatever comes next.
I hope you enjoyed your experience on the PCT and have many happy memories from it which will live with you for a long time, it's a shame you couldn't make it to Kennedy Meadows due to injury, i have enjoyed watching your videos and will miss looking out for another episode, do you plan to return sometime in the future to continue the PCT where you left off?
Hi Julia, I have followed you all the way through this adventure and at home in the UK. Are you going to do a follow up video on your reflections of the trip and what gear worked and what didn't? Cheers Nick
If i'm honest, I am still processing stuff from the PCT. I made some life changing decisions when I returned which i'm not ready to share with the world just yet, but it will come. Thanks for following along.
I’m loving this as well. Keep showing what you have been doing. I love that you can be a trail angel now such a different perspective. Also I don’t you have had trouble with shin splints but is that what took you off trail you haven’t really explained it.
Ah! It was my achillies more than anything. I have a day job in the UK as a walking guide and couldn’t risk rupturing the tendons. Sorry for not explaining it in more detail. I had the shin splints under control with stretching, resting, tape and rubbing them. It was working ok.
I've really enjoyed your desert trek. Will miss tuning in each day. Are any of your fellow hikers like Disco Daddy, the Royals, Dinky Di, continuing posting on social media as they continue?
Disco Daddy has a blog which is very detailed. The Royals are on Instagram instagram.com/thetraveleweds_the_royals DinkyDi is on Facebook (private) and Instagram @dinkydi65 (although she doesn’t post that often). Hope that helps. Xx
Thank you so much for letting us join you on your trip. Its been really great to watch & i hope that your body soon forgives you! Did you get to meet up with Dinky Di again? ❤
Will miss your vids Miss Julia. Probably homesick by now, but kinda surprised some Angel didn't offer to put you up for a few weeks for healing-feet? Seems a shame to fly all that way back home, when the Sierra's kinda rough this month anyway? Another month and Sierra might be more approachable? And feet might heal? Glad to see you rented a car and heading to the much safer San Diego anyway. Safe-travels.
I only had two months off work, so it was always going to be a long section hike for me. Campo to Kennedy Meadows was my goal. I’ll return at some point in the future to continue the journey. Thanks for following.

Lovely videos thank you for taking us along. Your “ good morning peeps “ greeting to begin each video made us smile .

Trail magic seems great! Does happen here in the UK, I guess we dont really have long enough trails and routes to make it worth it! Nice video 😊
I think that the trails close to towns in the UK, with exception to perhaps a few in Scotland. It’s such a lovely thing to do though. Perhaps we should start trail magic in the UK!

DinkyDi took some time out and went to LA so she’s a while behind the group now she did see a bear though which was rather cool!
Congrats Jukebox!
❤️❤️ - my Thrunote book is nearly full! 100 hikers!!
