The 1st offer usually feels like a slap in the face. 2nd or 3rd offer os much more revealing in terms of the ballpark they want to play in.

Here is a question: If an employer has insurance shouldn't the insurance company be an active part of negotiations?

I really want to know know more about media contact. I think Los Angeles news would think my case is juicy. Could I get counter sued for slander or would it be a 1st amendment issue? You also mentioned being careful who you talk to. I've had several conversations with very odd attorneys on LA. Have you heard of attorneys selling gathered case lead info from phone consultants to companies? Like your vids btw. Wish you practiced in CA

If you were to experience harassment and discrimination, having text messages and witnesses would provide substantial evidence to support your claims. It would be highly unlikely for a company to intentionally document such inappropriate behavior. In a court of law, witnesses' statements and various forms of evidence are carefully considered and evaluated by the jury.

Hey Vincent: I have provided some referrals to a local IT company in my city. This IT company is a third provider seller of the services that I once sold. This IT Company wants to give me a referral fee as a thank you. However, I'm in the middle of approaching an EEOC mediation with the company that terminated me. Again, this IT Company is a third-party reseller of the company that terminated me. The question is, should I accept this thank you from him or stay extremely far away from accepting the thank you gift and explain why to him.

Vince, could you give examples of illegal harassment that is not sexual in nature?

If your boss and co-workers are harassing you verbally making fun of you being in a wheel chair because you are disabled, I'm guessing that is unlawful harassment.

@@rccc6598 Wouldn't it be easier for you to explain what happened and ask Mr. White (or a local attorney) if it was unlawful? Why are you asking for examples instead of saying what happened? You asked about "illegal harassment" and now narrowing it down to gender harassment. Just describe what happened and maybe Mr. White will respond to your question.

@@rccc6598 Don't get defensive when I'm only suggesting you explain your situation about gender discrimination so perhaps Mr. White can help you. Do you feel uncomfortable explaining on the Internet? If or when an attorney files a lawsuit on your behalf, please realize most lawsuits are public. On youtube, you can just generally describe your situation here without naming the company or revealing your name. Not sure why you are acting defensive when I just asked you some questions.

If the employer offers a counter settlement doesn’t that admit to wrongdoing?
