If you were to experience harassment and discrimination, having text messages and witnesses would provide substantial evidence to support your claims. It would be highly unlikely for a company to intentionally document such inappropriate behavior. In a court of law, witnesses' statements and various forms of evidence are carefully considered and evaluated by the jury.

This IT Company wants to give me a referral fee as a thank you. However, I'm in the middle of approaching an EEOC mediation with the company that terminated me. The question is, should I accept this thank you from him or stay extremely far away from accepting the thank you gift and explain why to him.
If your boss and co-workers are harassing you verbally making fun of you being in a wheel chair because you are disabled, I'm guessing that is unlawful harassment.
