    Thank you for this. I'm brand new to ink & didn't want to spend more on the applicators. I appreciate your techniques using things we have around the house - very helpful and your candle holders are stunning.

    would the color change with time? do you need to seal it with something or once it is dried it becomes permanent?

    So pretty!! Would this technique be OK for wine bottles? I'm thinking about making some rain chains with tops of the bottles and this would look great on clear bottles. Thanks!

    Do you recommend sealing with resin? Or is there something else that would work to keep the alcohol ink from rubbing off.

    Loved it! Do you rinse your brush between inks? Does it come out of the brush well? Definitely going to try!

    Tried this last night, on a glass candle jar and the alcohol inks I used was from Amazon Piñata inks..Very vibrant once they dried on the jar I was doing experiment before I actually do my wine glass is I’d like to turn into a vase on my kitchen table however I don’t have any blending solution so I ended up just dabbing in pane in the glass and I let it dry for 24 hours then I sprayed the glass jar with some rubbing alcohol spray it got really shiny and vibrant and then it kind of went back to a dull shine..how do I get the colors to just pop? And be vibrant on glass like these?
    Thank you so much

      You can seal with a water based UV protecting sealant spray. (she mentions it in a comment above). The sealant will not only protect but will add shine.

    Hi. How do you protect the alcohol from fading?

    • @BreaReeseArt
      @BreaReeseArt  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, we recommend not storing the glass in direct sunlight to preserve the colors, and sealing the ink with a waterbased UV protecting sealant spray. Krylon makes a popular one. It's a good idea to use battery operated candles since the sealant can be flammable. Thanks!

    If you want to tint just in one color evenly how do you do it?

    • @BreaReeseArt
      @BreaReeseArt  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could spread the ink quickly with a paper towel, using a bit of blending solution if it is drying too fast.
