    These flowers are stunning! Oh my gosh!❤❤❤
    I have all the supplies except I have the ranger blower but I think I like your air can better. I don't know if my flowers would be this beautiful. I'm not very artistic. I do love doing resin pours. Alcohol inks are so incredible.
    Now I'll be watching al of your videos! No wonder my house is a mess! Haha

    I really like the dramatic effect of white on black, esp with the gold. Looks like you get pretty good control with the spray can. I'll have to try that. Thanks for the video.

      Hi Varsha Fine Art! I am happy you liked it. I went in and checked your channel and will subscribe as you are doing some great work...love your mandala work. I try to do alcohol ink work at least once a month but also work with watercolor for bookmarks, greeting cards, fridge magnets and small paintings and journals. I hope you subscribe and click the notification bell and meanwhile stay well!

    I would love to see your process from beginning to end and sealing too!

    • @treemaidenart
      @treemaidenart  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Anne..thanks for watching,I appreciate it. I will remember to do another video at some point that includes prepping the substrate. As far as sealing, I did use resin to finish another piece I did like this but it was not as clear as leaving it done after the alcohol ink. I have a painting without sealing with resin that I have had for three years that is doing fine, so I would not worry too much about sealing. Meanwhile you can buy black canvases and just resin them then do your alcohol ink work over it(after it is cured at least a day or two). Or if you cannot find a black canvas then just paint a white one with acrylic paint then resin, then do you ai work...hope this helps.

      Thanks Trudy. I don't do resin pieces often but I will leave a link here to an abstract piece I did that I covered with resin. Here I started with an 8x10 canvas and painted it with black acrylic paint then resin. There are black canvases out there so you won't have to paint your canvas. After I prepared the canvas(paint and resin) I did the alcohol ink flowers. th-cam.com/video/nn8aPs030Sg/w-d-xo.html (the resin part starts at 15:52 )...hope this helps.

    I just came across your video and was so impressed I over trying new things but I'm going to do mine in 4x4 gloss tiles.i new to change for awhile for some reason my acrylic paintings do not want to co oppericote with me .any suggestions on the tile ink flowers. Love yours and look so pretty I have all the items . thank you so much for any help.🤩🤩🤩

      Thank you so much Barbara. I do a bit of acrylic painting but it is fun to switch to alcohol ink to do pieces like this one. I did this one on a wooden board that I painted black then covered with resin so that my alcohol ink would flow. I had to have a black background so the white would stand out. I have done a few ceramic tiles in various colors of alcohol ink and they are pretty too. I would be sure to have some isopropyl alcohol down before quickly dropping on alcohol ink then blow with a dryer or straw. I know there are black 4x4 tiles out there but I have not been able to find them...hope you enjoy and be sure to check out my other videos as I have more alcohol ink, watercolor, cardmaking, bookmarks, coasters etc. Have a great day!

      Hi Noreen..thanks for visiting my channel. It is much appreciated. The surface is covered with resin which makes it very smooth and non porous so works well when you are blowing ink around. Have a happy day!

    Do you already have alcohol mixed in the white ink?

    • @treemaidenart
      @treemaidenart  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The white flowers are painted with alcohol ink...it is a alcohol based dye rather than the normal water base. You can gets the alcohol inks at art /craft stores or online from Amazon
