Blender file export in 3Ds max the material quality was done not good. My work is hard surfaceing modelling . For example I give silver colour material making in a blender .but I export into 3DS Max only material colour objects only when I see it. The blender result does not match it.the silver colour reflection specular and does not show it .please help me out with this problem I know you have busy time so please help me
@@AbeLeal3D I just wanna add a bullet hole to a metal helmet. I have sculpt in in the hight poly and use the curvature map it seems. Old painter was capable of doing such simple things without any issue.
00:30 Instead of turning all the channels off one by one, you can alt click on height to only select that one

Good question I usually do not recommend simple objects but if you can do an amazing modelling and textures it can definitely be worth including

@@utmostkibbles9125 yeah they have multiple uses I haven't tried them as clipping masks but since I'm they are information they might just work.

How would you change the colors of the normal details you add as well as the edge wear? Like if you wanted all the circular normal details to be gold?
you can use a specific layer and the anchor points to fill those areas with the color that you need

you will need to create new materials inside of 3dsmax since the shaders are not compatible.

well there are other alternatives, marmoset is really powerful, mari is a big one as well, and even 3dcoat
