Amazing!!! Can i just check if you could achieve this result in blender using this method? Especially thr export section with the maps and sss stuff...
Hello I have a problem in the Substance Painter software, my objects are not colored, but there is color in the rendering, but in normal mode, the color is not applied, can you see what is the reason?
Question. How did you manage to import the FBX into Maya so it keeps the same file name?. When I import an FBX created in Zbrush, the outliner shows it as "fileNameFBXASC###". When I import an OBJ, the outliner shows it as "fileName:ZBrushPolyMesh3D". I have disabled the namespace in the import dialogue window, resolve/clash nodes, NameSpace Editor, searched all of google but nothing. The ONLY way that seems to work is to open the OBJ or FBX in NotePad++, replace the extra suffix and save. I tried these same files in Blender and they come in with the correct name and no added suffixes. Any ideas?. Thanks

did u know Mari? if okay! can u talk and show about it ? along the way of newbie animator i research alot . some how it once again . substance and mari . pro and con. my english kinda broke. hope u dont mind.XD
Of course, Mari is an amazing software for UDIM texturing and large assets and scenes, the process is different than substance, and the price is definitely more expensive but if you are looking to get into films and high resolution renders then it is a great option. Personally for the line of work i do substance covers all the bases, it might not be the best performance wise but it does the job and has an accesible price.
Abraham, It's important to note that your microphone is very dirty from the front view haha... don't forget to clean it bro. it has a dead skin build up! kinda like a CLAYBUILD UP
thanks Nathy! yes believe i have tried but i find it difficult to speak slowly and keep the pace and video interesting, here are 2 possible solutions, TH-cam should auto generate subtitles so check if they are available in your preferred language and also there is an option to slow down the video by half the speed that could provide useful. regards!

great very informative video about skin texturing
I can see realistic eyes being next :D . Great video Abe! Did you show the UV process for this model?
No no UVS for this one but I have a couple other videos going over that
Great contribution. Great tutorial. You have my like. Thank you so much. Greetings
And you have my thanks :) I appreciate the support!
Amazing, works very well.
Great to hear!
when I add the fill sublayer to the SSS layer it affects the whole mesh and not just the head, how do I fix it?
you might need to mask out the sections you dont want

yeah this can definitely be applied in blender, with the new materials in 4.2 it is even easier to connect
@@AbeLeal3Dawesome I will try this thanks!!!😊
thank you, it's really good. But i have some problem that my substance painter doesn't have thickness map. What should i do
The thickness maps comes from the bakes you initially do. So you need to create the bakes yourself for your asset
Hey can you do a slime shader in maya? Something along the lines of Ghostbusters slime?
What about nails and teeth?
edit:also did you accidentally cut the beginning out
NICE ! Thanks ! Can you put the name of the artist you mentionned ? please ?
Of course her names I Madeleine Scott Spencer
Thank you.. can we do this without Maya as I far from this program
@@shivangipriya4153 the render is maya, for the texturing you need substance or something similar
Ok thank you for your reply :-)
Hi! I get this green color in the skin when I do the subsurface scattering in Arnold, do you know why that may happen?
Saludos!
the radius might be to big on the subsurface
Hi Abe.....can the same technique be used for orcs who are Greenskins? Do i have to use different shades in place of RGB?
Check out one of our latest shorts ;)
I did ....Thanks a lot Abe 🙏🏻👍🏻

Send a question in our discord community help-room, with a screenshot.
Explain how to Retopologise the zbrush sculpted clothes?
there are 2 ways, manually with zspheres or automatically with zremesher, it would depend on what the asset will be used for

Followong My other comment, you don't really need to import the high poly to Maya. I only use it for the bakes inside of substance.
Bless you
