This is good! There is a 2m Winlink station at our local EOC. During a hurricane the EOC/911 center should have internet. But I would like to get HF also when I can afford the radio. This will let me set up for 2m and then later setup for HF also on one Pi. The only thing I can think of is being able to receive from one radio and send out on the other! But that may be asking for a bit much. And at this time I only have VHF, UHF. THANK YOU FOR THE WORK YOU DO TO HELP OTHERS!
Thank you so much Jason for making this video and sharing it with all of us! I am already subscribed to your channel, I did a quick Google search looking for how to set up multiple radios and multiple configurations with FLDIGI and FLRig and surprise surprise you showed up on the search list! Of course I had to give this video a thumbs up like all of your other videos! 73 W3GUY
Jason, Would you know how this might be done with Windows 11? I'd like to run an 891 (already set up with Flrig) and a 991 as an additional rig. I don't necessarily want to run them at the same time, but would like to choose between them as which rig to run Flrig. I can't find any info on this. I can't believe I am the only one wanting to do this. 73s Dan K1YPB
It should be a very similar process on windows. If you can't figure it out, this group should be able to help groups.io/g/linuxham/topics I don't run windows but guys in that group do.
Great video. Can you use this technique for one radio with two configurations? Example VARA HF and VARA FM. Also, I would like the option of operating VARA FM with one of my dual band FM radios with a Signalink but FLRIG does not support any dual band FM radios. I have a FTM-400DR and a TM-D710A. Do you need FLRIG for operating VARA FM in Winlink? Thanks, JT
You wouldn't need FLRIG to control the radio while using a Signalink. The signalink has a built in VOX circuit to key the radio. You will have to manually set the frequency on the rig though.
You don't disappoint Jason... I am continually amazed at how much you put into this channel. Thanks again for your effort!

Perfect! I have a G90 already set up and am working on getting my FT-891 on digital. This is exactly what I needed.
Such a great idea/option. Thank you!
How is it I don't yet have a pi?
Great video tutorial man.
Thanks for the upload.
What a great way to use one RPI thank you for posting this good video.

Thanks Jason, This is very useful. I will be using this :D
Informative video. Didn't know that. 73, Stephan, DF6PA
As usual, another outstanding tutorial for a very useful application! Thanks Jason! de N4DPH
Ok, that's cool and all, but now I have a new problem. Do I buy more Pis or more Radios?
That is quite the quandary!
Both and don't forget to get more sound cards👍
Great video. Now I need to buy another radio.
I don't have a use case for it yet, but great video thanks for sharing.
Hi
Do you already succeed to set the TX power for a FT-857D from FLRig ?
Thanks
No. To my knowledge, setting the power isn't supported in FLRIG for the 857.
Hello, I can get this to work, but if I shutdown or restart the pi it reverts back to before I had two rigs setup… any Ideas? Thanks Ian
Great video. Thanks
Like it, very neat...
Now, that is clever!

This will definitely free a pi for other use.
