I just sold my 2001 LX470. It had 274K miles. Looks exactly like this one but, I had the Mark Levinson with the navigation. I sold it to CarMax for $2500. It was a great car. Still ran great.

How is it off-road? Doesn't have rear lockers or atrac like the newer ones. I'm eying a 99 now, but was a bit reserved given the fact that the only 4wd tech seems to be a basic locking center diff with lsd.
@@boldstar69 the 105s weren't imported to the US (as far as I know). I'd of loved for the US to have gotten a diesel option though. I ended up getting an 02lx though, and love it so far. I live in Florida so not too many rocks here, just mud and sand. Only thing I plan on doing still is torsion bars and a mild lift. These things are phenomenal vehicles though, literally the only down side is fuel economy, though most of my vehicles already get horrible mpgs, so I'm pretty use to it. I put some nittos on it though and it hasn't even flinched or struggled through the stuff if drove through so far. (Though I haven't pushed it too terribly hard). Nobody believes it's a 20 year old vehicle though.
It’s a beast. I put KO2s on it and it goes anywhere. I have the basic set up you mentioned and it gets me anywhere I want to go. I’ve passed lifted trucks on the trail. Keep the original rims. The tall sidewall absorbs energy.
Looking at a 99’ around me. 4300 has 159k miles. Looks really clean with some minor paint defect on the trunk

More robust than the 200 but if you really want one for offroading get the triple locked LC105.
