I bought the glideride for myself as a Christmas present off the wife and I love them. Did my first half marathon in them last weekend up in blackpool with some serious headwind, got round in 2h 15 and had to walk about 1.5k against the wind, just couldn't get a breath. Doing the bolton marathon in them in may. Seriously thinking about buying the evoride for training runs.

Great review!! I actually bought the two!! I use the Glideride for outdoor long runs (10km and above). I use the Evoride for treadmill runs and racing up to 10km. I weigh 100kg so I need a well cushioned shoe for outdoor, long runs. Both shoes are absolutely excellent!!!!!!

2 - 3 years old shoe review is my favorite because of the big discount for older shoes. Having tight budget i prefer discounted great shoes. Purchased evoride and glideride for 60% discount . Loving this shoes.
So glad I came across your comparison of these shoes. I’m looking for a long run shoe (heavier runner) and to date none of the ones I’ve tried have worked for me. After about 10 miles the toes in my right foot go numb. Even after having a gait analysis I got a pair of Mizuno Wave Rider 22. I loved those but I still had the toe numbness. This year I’m limiting myself to 5ks and 10K and currently run in Brooks Launch 6 which have been great.
I’m still torn between the EvoGlide and the GlideRide as I hate heavy shoes, but I want something that will work with me through a long run. The EvoGlide got my attention as I’m apparently a “natural heel striker” but now the GlideRide...sigh!

I'm absolutely loving my Gliderides, but damn the groove in the sole and the crappy tread traction are annoying. Otherwise it's a brilliant shoe. I hope they fix the tread on a revision next year.
Another great review. Which would you say is the softer of the two? I would assume the EVO ride yeah, over the Glide ride?

The GlideRide..wow..just bought a pair, 2nd run. Heavy shoes but man, they really deliver on the promise of 'reducing leg fatigue '. Loving them already. For the Evoride, tried at the shop and found them to be so hard on foot. Told myself I might as well go for the adidas adios or NB1400 to do the same job
Try the new balance think you might prefer ... I’m gonna get another pair of GLIDERIDE
Gliderides caused me leg pain. A Hoka shoe did the same. Something about shoes with more support (maybe in mid-sole) cause this problem. I really love the look of the Evoride too.
Interesting maybe have a look at the Saucony shift
Saucony Ride 13 is a great support shoe that feels a but quicker than most.
Always used nikes for running but knowing how much you love the pegasus I'm really thinking of giving glideride a go

Useful video. I hesitate between Glideride and Evoride... I'm looking for support shoes like Glideride but quite heavy ( my weight 50kg ). I'm not sure that Evoride will be a choice or not because I don't know more about Evoride detail. My personal run focus on 10km 21 km maybe more than that.. Give me some advise please

What is the tread like on the glide ride and the evo ride as i’ve had Asics GT 2000 for the last 10 years and the tread has lasted me about 500 miles but recently I have just bought the zoom fly three and the tread has only lasted 200 miles I got this because of the cushioning The tread doesn’t look that thick on these

I had been running in GT 2000 series for years, but finally waking to the truth that it does not help to increase the speed, but I need to have stability too to avoid another knee injury. Which shoes would your recommend from ASICS?
Have a look at the GlideRide although that is not a stability shoe
I tried the Bondi for my long runs but ended up feeling a lot of hip pain/soreness after runs. I think this is common for highly cushioned/high stack shoes. Do you feel any hip soreness with the GlideRide? I know it has a high stack but I wonder if the rocker/guide helps it feel more stable.
None I absolutely love them and my new pair just arrived 😂

What shoes do you recommend for heavier, slower runners for 5k - 1/2 marathons? PS, I HATE Nike. I have ran in Brooks Glycerine 14 & ASICS 21’s
I would recommend ASICS GlideRide a friend of mine who is bigger LOVES them 👊
Really better than the Turbo? Turbos are my absolute favourite shoes of 2019! I think Zoom X is unbeatable.
But I did not enjoy so much the Glideride...hard to run my fast pace with them for me, so maybe I won't like also the Evoride....but maybe not because of the weight 😂
