Thanks guys. For my foot strike the Evoride 2 works really well. I don’t find it harsh because of the rocker. I use them as a daily trainer but have also done a few races in them up to half marathon and was surprised how well they performed for me. I will defo be getting a pair of these (or more likely the wild design Noosa!)
Loved the Noosa 13 with the same midsole as the EvoRide, and am happy to hear it’s softened up a bit. I find that flavour of FlyteFoam needs a few runs to soften up, so don’t give up after first thoughts!

I don't run over 10k. Shoes like the Evoride, Kinvara, Hyperion, and FC Rebel are my sweet spot.
I have the Noosa tri 13 and it's a great shoe from 5:30 m/km to 4:00m/km. I've done runs up to 27 Km and the level of cushioning, lightness and responsiveness of the midsole is perfect.

Hmm, like the light firm ride of the Kinvara (plus low drop, lowi-ish stack and available wide toe box). May give the evoride 3 a try if the toe box is ‘roomy.’ Thanks for the first thoughts / quick take and nice job rolling with the alley activity!

Agree the Evoride 2 is firm but I think after a few runs it gets a little softer but I wouldn't call it soft. I assume the 3 will be the same.

I'm looking for a shoe I can use for tempo runs. This one might fit the bill.

I had 2 pairs of Evoride 1's and a pair of the Evoride 2's. I ran my fastest 5k in the original Evorides
the category for this shoe is treadmill workout. At least the previous version worked very well and it had nothing to do with Kinvara, which was just dead and dull. Saucony was like a light-weight trainer used to be 10 years ago but at least the previous version of Evoride had that rocker which made it a decent shoe for tempos and reps on a treadmill. At 5:30 pace it started to feel slow but when one runs more slowly, something like from 5:30 to 7 minutes per mile it was a good shoe and very durable. After 500k it was like new even cushion wise.
Seems like the new Evoride also pulls in various forms of transportation towards it. What’s next, a runaway train?

for me, the rocker of evoride is too tough. It doesnt sway naturally like magicspeed and sky.
I Like Meg's POV: What daily trainer besides ASICS NOVABLAST or is there something better than the NOVABLAST? I am looking into New Balance More/Rebel this year. (want to try a 2E shoe)

It's a performance trainer that works with the GlideRide and not a daily trainer. And if you guys are simply going to walk down a street and discuss the "feel" of the shoe without the hard stats...bye.

I find the Evoride 3 an excellent shoe. Not too firm at all. Soft, light and fast. Poor review.
