That is looking great. My vote, and we know every vote matters, is wood grain for the dash. Steering wheel looks awesome so I'm sure the dash will too and be a nice accent. Thanks for sharing
Daisy got lost in that thing 😀Looking great! Those blue taillights really look good. No fenders are a good choice, and the wife is always right 😀 Wood grain on the dash to compliment the steering wheel. Cheers!
I was cracking up when I put the crew around it. It is so darn big. I am so happy with the taillights. I need to get that tailgate wired so I can start the electronics. You are so right. She is never wrong. NEVER. LOL I will do wood grain.
This one is looking great, Mark. Never realized before now what a nice kit Lindberg produced with this one. With all you are adding to it, it will be outstanding.
Awesome update Mark! I see the point on the finder issue and yes I agree with Terri... Lol 1, Mod Podge to hold the seat backs in place... 2. I vote wood grain on the dash. LLAP 🖖
Thank you. Yeah, the fenders just didn't look right. Teri is always right. No mater what. LOL I pulled the BMF off the dash and gave it a bath in quick shine to take any sticky off it, I'll paint the wood tomorrow.
Can you use a magnet & small piece of metal to hold the seat backs on? Just in case you wanted to remove them for whatever reason. Looking great. Love the flying 🦈 shark decal
I ended up using hot glue to hold it on and it seemed to work. If I need to I think I can just pull it and the glue will release. Thanks. I did a little touching up on the decals with some thin gloss black around the edges and it looks so much better now. (More angry) LOL
While it would be quite a bit more work to remove the BMF and then paint the wood grain, I think that going the wood grain path, to match the steering wheel, would just look sick!
I already started working on these, and to be honest I am going very advanced with this build because of how much room I have, but I will do another one as soon as I get back to the regular sized builds.
Marvelous work, Mark! 😎👍
Thank you very much.

Thank you very much. And yes every vote matters. I will be doing wood grain and chrome bezzles. I think that will look awesome.

Thank you. I am very impressed with this kit. Lots of great detail in it, and it's fitting very well too.
Mark, that 1/8 scale is comming out real good.
Thank you very much.
Fantastic update. Fantastic craftsmanship. Awesome how the color/chrome works together. Really looks fantastic. Can’t wait to see the next update!
Thank you very much. I am super happy with how this is going so far.
It's looking great Mark. Cool technique for doing the wood on the steering wheel, very realistic looking. A wood dash would be cool.
Thank you very much
This car is amazing! You are a master at building these.
Thank you very much.
@ you have a great day!
Wood grain to match the steering wheel would look great. The whole car is coming along really nice!
Thanks I will do that.
Man that is looking awesome Mark! Great looking build so far.
Thank you so much.
I remember when I was a kid and you could find these eight scale models on the shelves all day long
Yeah, and a good prices too. I just never had the room for them. I'm finding out that I still don't. LOL
Looking good so far 😎😁
Thank you.
Looks great...and enormous! :D Frame looks sweet too. Making great progress for sure
Thank you very much
Awesome years ago I used an old tire tube to simulate a rubber bed cover for a 1/8th scale t bucket and I also used it for the shifter boot
That is such a great idea. I may do that for the shifter boot.
Awesome update Mark! I see the point on the finder issue and yes I agree with Terri... Lol
1, Mod Podge to hold the seat backs in place...
2. I vote wood grain on the dash.

@@grandpamarkshobbies As I read the other comments I see the vote was wood grain... Lol If you don't think she is right just ask her... 🤣 🖖
I'm rolling. LOL
That wheel looks great! I'd have to se the dash against the background to call woodgrain or not/ That build is looking amazing!
Thank you very much.
Nice hair cut!!!!!.....😁👍
LOL. Thanks I did it myself.
@grandpamarkshobbies I do the same when it gets super long....🙄😁👍
Really cool brother!😊
Thank you very much.
@grandpamarkshobbies yw brother always!
Looks great Mark. Woodgrain for the dash.
I'll do it wood. I think that will look great.
Steering Wheel looks Awesome! I'd go Billit Aluminum for gauge panel NOT wood grain! ...Newk from Kentucky
Thank you. I ended up painting the dash wood too, and with all the lights it came out great.

The dash would definitely be better woodgrain. Like Lebowski's rug, it will pull the whole thing together
Ha ha. Lebowski's rug!!!!! Classic. Now I have to paint it. LOL

That's what I ended up doing yesterday. I was impressed with how well BMF held. LOL I think it looks so much better with the wood.
@@grandpamarkshobbies Sometimes, BMF sticks SUPER well, and sometimes, not so much. I can't wait to see the wood grain version.
Land of the Giants diorama with the mechanics,
LOL. That's what I thought when I put them down.
you have a lot to work with.1/8 cool kit
I really do. There's so much room.
Wood grain would look sharp in the dash.
Thank you.
Wood grain, like you have on the steering wheel.
That's what I did. It looks good.
any chance of doing a how to video of how you put lights on your models and find where to get what i would need
I already started working on these, and to be honest I am going very advanced with this build because of how much room I have, but I will do another one as soon as I get back to the regular sized builds.
It's coming along amazing 👍🏻 I vote wood grain on the dash.
Thank you. Wood grain it is.
Woodgrain!
Thanks, that's what I'm going to do.
