Just finished watching the final build video. My dad would LOVE what you did. Especially the magazine cover. BTW in the picture with his station wagon leaving the line was a straight 6, 250 truck engine. He used to say anyone can make a V-8 go fast, so that's why I wanted to make the 6 Cylinder go fast. Thank Sir Brent (Arthur)
Thank you so much. You just made my whole month. I love how he used a straight 6 250. That must have screamed coming off the line. Again, thank you so much for choosing me to do this. It was a true honor.
Mark ,that is awesome, beautiful and you did another great build. The Mag on the seat was a cool addition to the build... I love all the lights and the flashers just blow me away... Lol LLAP 🖖
Thank you so much. This one was a really fun build. It took about a month longer than I expected, but that was mostly my fault. LOL I had to do something cool for Stanley, after all he bought this kit in the 60's. It was an honor to build.
Great build Mark! Awesome job on the lighting...wow!! That dipstick...so cool! That magazine is just a perfect touch...a great tribute. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Thank you very much. I re wrote the software, and now it runs a lot better. I had so much fun making the magazine. At this scale you can see what's on the cover. LOL You and yours have a great Thanksgiving too.
Thank you very much. I will for sure take this to the shows. I plan on making a base so I can carry it without touching it. I'll also have one of those oversized remotes to go with it. LOL
Great job on this build and very classy of you to make the magazine tribute and the license plate. It's unfortunate it's so brittle. Hopefully it stands up to time. If you have much more trouble with that maybe you could make some real metal sleeves for the broken plastic.
Thank you very much. I sure needed to do Stanley right. I was thinking of 3D printing those parts. They are the only parts that are under tension. I am also going to make a very nice base for it so I don't have to touch it when I move it.
Hey Grandpa Mark can you tell me the exact details about this kit. I would love to buy this kit. Where did you buy it? What's the exact name of this kit. Can you please provide me with that information I would very much appreciat this from you Grandpa Mark. 😁
It is a LINDBERG 3in1 CUSTOMIZING "T" motorized kit RED DEMON kit#694m:1298 I have never seen one for sale that has not been opened and started before. They came out in 1964. The one I worked on was gifted to me. I have seen them on Ebay every now and then, but the one's that are all there and not started are always well over 100 dollars US. There is also the Lindberg Big Red Rod Ford T Bucket 1/8 Scale Model Kit #73044 That is more available, but does not have all the choices the Red Demon kit has. I hope this helps you find one. It is a very big kit, but if you take your time it is a very fun kit too.
If you leave it on the sprue you can. What I do is make it where it will hang so it's not flat, but the edge is facing down. (it will drip) Then put a few paper towels under where it's going to hang. Now you have to do this fast. Cover it in a VERY large amount of quick shine. (if you can dunk it do that) then hang it over the paper towels and cover that with a clean box. Leave that sit for a day or two so it will harden up. Then when it's done handle it as little as posable. I use to do this with model airplanes and Future floor wax with some green food coloring in it all the time. Haven't had to do that since I got back into cars.

Wow, killer build Mark! You really knocked this one outta the park. The graphic on the body reminds me of the Flying Tigers WW2 P40 fighter planes.

Love the car! But on the magazine, shouldn't it be "Running"?? It's freaking awesome either way.
Thank you very much. Yes. I didn't see that until I posted the video.
Hey i just noticed your shifter handle. It's a skull. Where did you buy that at? That's cool. 🤘😎💯🥃
Thank you very much, that came with the kit. I just drilled it out and added the LED.

You need a bit more caster in the front axle.
Oh my gosh I almost spit my diet coke on the computer. I'm cracking up. Thanks for making my day.
