Hi from Northern Portugal. Some very good tips, I made the mistake of making a complicated & technical brochure. As it was for 'professionals' I thought more info was good, well spent far too much time and was costly and in the end it didn't work - too clutered. I'm currently redesigning and taking your advice as well as KISS (Keep it SImple St.... !). The tech stuff is on the website for those that want it HOWEVER the brochure much be simple, clean & profesionaly done.
The background for text should be something that provides high contrast so that the text is readable! An example would be black text on a white background. As long as they aren't complementary and have enough contrast between the two colors it can blend very well with whatever design you are going with. Hope that helps!

I’m learning about Indesign and we are designing a postcard, brochures and etc. We have to call a printing company to ask about cost of printing and a few other things. Are you a company I could call if I were to get my answers? I would need quotes.

I started a gold prospecting business a couple years ago after falling in love with the hobby, bought some equipment and even invented a piece of equipment patent pending I want to start offering trips out to a private property that has gold on it and teach people how to process the rocks and dirt to find the gold. My question is what type of brochure would you suggest and how much would it cost if I were to hire you? I too have a TH-cam channel. Check it out to get a better idea of what I do.
