Incredible and enlightening! Among many guides I've explored, this stands out as the best for its conciseness, precision, and immense value to anyone aiming to improve their marketing collateral. This is a must-watch for comprehensive tips on flyer design and requirements. Appreciate you sharing your knowledge, thanks!
I'm starting out in lawn care (May 2023) and looking to advertise next year (2024) and a few friends of mine have said this is one of the best ways to advertise. I'm very grateful for the advice you've given in this video to turn my current crappy idea of a flyer into a decent one that will attract the desired clients.
Very good information. Took notes ❤❤. Currently designing flyers to try a different marketing approach as digital is not getting me clients I need. Thanks for saying Flyers and Print mail is NOT dead.
Damn. 1 million flyers? Even if it was 5 cents per flyer that's $50k, not to mention the cost of deliver. Who has that kind of bank to spend on advertising? And wouldn't that overwhelm your company/be overkill?
I own a business as a Secular Funeral Celebrant and Memorial Slideshow Editor. I craft personalized, customized, meaningful funeral ceremonies and Celebration of Life events with rituals, soul-sketch style eulogies that capture who the person was and really are emotionally resonant and powerful and truly provide comfort and closure but mostly my market isn't just anyone who dies, but specifically nonreligious people/ people unaffiliated with a local church/mosque/temple, not practicing a religion. I've been having trouble figuring out how to get the word out about my services so the right people see my message. The memorial slideshows I edit with professional video editing software and experience and I think anyone planning a funeral could use these services. I'm making flyers to hang up on coffeehouse bulletin boards and pamphlets to display in funeral homes and other venues that are willing to take them; brochures/pamphlets to give to assisted living communities and nursing homes and hospices. I appreciate your content nonetheless for helping me think through which parts of this might be translatable to my business and which aren't. The hardest part of all this is probably that sales and discounts on funerals feels like it doesn't make sense and isn't appropriate for our line of work
@@JamesSzojka Do a shorter or no intro, go straight to the point, talk like a man, do not film yourself writing down the steps, have the steps already written or use the caption/image on the screen. Your vid is boring and annoying. Gfy
@@JamesSzojka I already have a flyer for my painting business but it is kind of generic and old school. Just business name and logo, bullet point of services we provide, short call to action, URL and phone number.
Thank you Great Leader for sharing 👏🏾

When first starting, flyers can be expensive. The best way to get clients starting out is door to door.
Where are you located ?
@@JamesSzojka I'm in the UK
Great video, nice and concise. Like the simple approach with writing on the paper with a marker instead of trying to get fancy with digital editing.

Very useful gems shared here. Apart from being a graphic designer, I also found tips shared here very useful as a social media manager
Thank you for the information, I’m getting a prepayment form ready for my customers
Awesome!
@@JamesSzojka anyway I can see a template for y’all’s prepayments? Met y’all at landscape summit. Been binge watching y’all’s videos

You could definitely do a promotion where if you get your neighbor to sign up you and your neighbor get 5% off amount off or each get a free service
True

Depends. If you scatter the delivery a week apart then it isnt too bad. Lots of companies spend over $100k in marketing per year
Buy a lamination machine and printer for under 100$. Easy
What size mailer are you holding in the video and what company do you use to print? Thanks for the info
That one was a 6x8 and from Vistaprint
That was great
Only he can understand himself

Why no one makes a vid straight to the point?

My designer is asking $100 to design my painting business flyer. I have a logo already and all the content the flyer will contain. Is that a lot?
No
I agree^

@@age_of_reason Nice! Take of the URL & replace it with a QR code
@@JamesSzojka Huh??
what if its a landscaping company brother
Landscaping is a different ball game honestly. Id recommend having a great website with great case studies of landscape transformations!
@@JamesSzojkathats really helpful man.. its exactly what i wanted to know .. if a website makes any difference
No problem at all. Flyers I’ve found are always hard to get an ROI. A great website with before and after transformations is what would be best !
U Think I got 50$ to spend ?
I got 8$ tops
Too much talking 😔😩
